Hillary In Charge?
Well, this is sure to set the Netroots off, they've no love for David Broder to start with. He raises the issue of a Clinton co-presidency II. He doesn't dig down into the actual dynamics of the couple. I suspect they might change some if Hillary were to assume the presidency. That and more may add a level of discomfort for people considering a vote for the Senator. Assuming she makes it through the primary as expected, she can be beat in the General.
Her fate in the primary might have something to do with what happens tonight in Vegas - cuz it ain't gonna stay in Vegas for long.
And speaking of Vegas, if you're into a bit of light blogospheric naval gazing, Mary Katharine Ham has a round up of items from the recent blog expo.

Having spent way too much time on a Hillary article, I can understand why Mr. Broder wants to try and confine his time and research. Unfortunately, too many people do that looking at HRC, which is part of how Bill and Hill have structured their lives and is part of how they distract folks from looking at them closely.
I hope never to write anything like it again: http://ajacksonian.blogspot.com/2007/10/incredible-lightness-of.html

Wow. Sociopath? Really? I seriously hope you don't have to write anything like that again too, ajacksonian. That would imply you hadn't slipped off your meds a second time.
Yesh, do you people ever get tired of trying to write up the next Presidential nominee as the second coming of Hitler? Were you completely asleep during '92-'00 or was there some calamitous clusterfuck of horror during the first Clinton Presidency that 90% of America just failed to notice? The biggest joke in all this is how its just a rehash of ten years ago. You guys don't even have new mud to sling, because you've literally accused the Clintons of everything from drug smuggling to gang rape to mass murder.

Ruh roh! You done gone and violated Godwin's Law of never, ever, mentioning Der Führer's and/or his legacy in comparison to any question of public policy on the internets. You loose!
And besides, we know Mr. Hitler is dead by now. But ol' Wiley Willy is still around. And yeas, we are VERY worried about the Second Coming of Clinton.
"--- calamitous clusterf**k of horror ---"
Several, actually:
Somalia
Bosnia-Hercegovina
Albania
Cozying up to Red China to spite our own noses (most favoured trade status/aggravating the Japanese)
Red Chinese financing of the DNC
Mind you, these are not the epic single point of focus that Iraq is... but add'em up, and it is a multiplicity of clustered errors.
"--- drug smuggling ---"
Ah, yes. Good ol' Roger Clinton and Whitewater.
"--- gang rape ---"
Not exactly, although Monica was a discredit to Bill's office.
"--- mass murder ---"
17 little children in Waco, TX. Yup, that was on Clinton's watch.
A man, a pregnant woman and her baby, and a boy in Idaho: On Clinton's watch.
