I can hardly believe I am reading this in the same story covering the same speech. It isn't polarization, looks more like bi-polarization to me.
Clinton Confronts ‘Polarizing’ Issue
“I consider myself a servant-leader,” she said. “I’m not running to be president of the Democrats. I’m not running to be president of states that vote for Democrats. I’m running to be president of the United States. And I think I understand very well what it would take to do that.”
Referring to unspecified “special interests,” she continued, “We can surround them and defeat them, and isolate and marginalize them, because they’ve been after me for 15 years, and I’m still here. I’m still standing. And I know we can take them on and get our country back.”

Then she pivoted and cast herself as the anti-Bush. She recalled how some people told her not to run for the United States Senate in 2000, that winning over so many people would be too difficult - tacitly acknowledging that she herself was then a polarizing figure who needed to find a way to convert her skeptics.
That is just self serving BS from her remarks. For those not living in short attention span theater, all the polls in advance of the draft Hillary stuff showed she would roll over any likely candidate but Rudy.
This is simply a rewrite of history to set the stage for what she sees coming down the line. She is prepping the battlefield for what attacks she sees will be coming.
For those who say wait until after the nomination on countering her, I hope you have big ammo to use because she is already setting rules for the game and has been for years.
Waiting is not an option here. Once nominated supporters will discount any issue short of eating babies for breakfast once they have committed to having her win.

"I hope you have big ammo to use"
49% negatives, powerful they are.

Hillary's too brittle to give the Clinton political machine the human face it has to have.
She lacks Bill's Magic Smarm Powers™.

Maybe SHE can beat the Taliban and catch bin Laden. The crosseyed stammerer sure can't.

Yay, Hillary! It's about time someone took on the AFL-CIO, NEA, ELF, ALF, AFT, Code Pink, ACORN and a host of other special interests. You go, girl!
Oh, dumb ass, aka chris/Boob, the Democratic plan to beat the Taliban and catch OBL consists of evacuating US troops from the region, begging the Taliban to play nice, ignoring OBL altogether, and redeploying to Okinawa, where we no longer have any facilities. I guess US forces will redeploy to Okinawa as tourists. In any event, it's a plan that would come from the likes of you, and it is ignorant and dangerous. Did I make myself clear, Boob?

Oh, what a great find the Boob in Bridgeport has provided us about how NATO is losing to the Taliban. Of course this report must be absolutely true and objective. How do I know? Because it is from a famous and impeccable source: "the Senlis Council, an independent think-tank with a permanent presence in Afghanistan, wrote in a study..." When the Senlis Council says something you can take it to the bank. I think. Maybe. Personally, I never heard of it. It seems the Afgahanistaners may have heard of it though.

Fred, Yahoooooooooooo also uses Jihad Unspun as a news source. I'll bet they have a long record of accurate and objective reporting as well. That Boob is a real journalist, he sure is. Haha!

I see that the 24%ers are in denial. Typical and also good practice for 11/08.

"--- The crosseyed stammerer sure can't. ---"
I see that the 11%ers (the moonbat Code pinko fringe and their admirers) are deluded and overwhelmed by BDS as usual.
Scramble for that last pitiable and unbalanced shred of despair, and cling to it, O foolish boobchrisstamfordmum!

While you are praying for good 'Christians' everywhere, please say a prayer for this misguided servant of the LORD

Lose big, dems will, in '08. Exploding heads, messy it will be.

Follow the left most blogs and if you eliminated all the BDS posts you could inscribe it on the head of a pin and have room left over.
Funny how that incompetent boob in office keeps rolling them up and kicking their butts.
Great plan those on the left have got and fine execution of the same.
Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Waxman and Obey ....find me one statesman in the bunch and I will have grounds to have you committed.

"--- please say a prayer for this misguided servant of the LORD... ---"
Indeed, we will, and we should pray for all of our pastors. They are no more perfect beings than any of us - sinners saved by grace.
As for this particular congregation - they might do as well also to be careful not to get caught up in worshiping the pastor or any other man ahead of Christ.
Sadly, it also tells us how awful sin is when we give it a place in our lives.
