Sometimes I look at Hillary Clinton and I wonder, what on earth possesses this woman to believe she has a claim to the Presidency? What is it she's done, exactly, besides marrying correctly for political benefit and running with it for all that it's worth? She's transparent in a way that, unfortunately, Bill Clinton was not.
The top Democrat contenders went head to head in Iowa. Some reports are giving the edge to Obama. That's fine by me. Ultimately, if Obama bests Hillary it will be for the same reason she has been so successful - Bill Clinton. Along with providing the credibility she needed to make the run, she also chose to work in his shadow. Now she can't help but be judged through that filter and it makes her every step look contrived, her every decision calculated for nothing more than simple political gain. Of course, that could also be because it is.
"I'm not interested in attacking my opponents, I'm interested in attacking the problems of America," Clinton said. "And I believe we should be turning up the heat on the Republicans. They deserve all the heat we can give them."
Clinton's speech was a sometimes-clunky litany of alleged Republican misdeeds, followed by the roaring call from her yellow-clad supporters to "turn up the heat."

I'm not sure why Hillary's supporters are so eager to "turn up the heat." Wouldn't that leave a bigger carbon footprint?

The only reason this woman is being considered is because her supporters are really voting for bill. Everyone with a brain knows she has not real experience at anything that is why the press never asks any questions about it. Tim Russet tried and it went nowhere with the press. This is all about puting bill back in charge.

weird, everything in the world just has to be tied back to clinton.
"Ultimately, if Obama bests Hillary it will be for the same reason she has been so successful - Bill Clinton."
What's most interesting about this statement is how objectively anti-democratic it is. It wont be because thousands if not millions of people preferred someone else? No everything's because of Clinton! RARRR!!!
I wonder when you will quit with the pretense?

What's especially is troubling is why Hillary is the most despised candidate from the right. Or perhaps perplexing.
From my point of view she is the democratic candidate most similar to the majority on the Republican field, especially the front runners.
And yet the accusations of how pinkoleftocommunosocialist she is are endless. She is the most hated from the right.
What's even more inexpiclable is that she's the most similar to the dead-enders favorite hero: W.

The right hates Hillary, and justly so, because she pretends to be populist and centrist, ...and every now and then...in front of audiences that she feels she can trust, she lets the cat out of the proverbial bag...
She talks about taking away the oil companies' profits, about upping taxes, about how America can't quite afford all her wonderful ideas. Also because she backed up the man who flat out lied to the American People...remember, "I never had sex with that woman."? Remember the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy? Also because of her undisguised contempt for the military and all who serve, as reported by former military staff like the "football" carrier and the various honor guards.
The right hates Hillary, and justly so, because she clearly has a hidden (though not well enough hidden, let's hope) second agenda, the pursuit of power at all costs.

LOL,
I've been puzzled by this Clintopsychosis on the right also. Bill governed as a moderate and Hillary is the most conservative/moderate on the Dem side. And yet, "she exhibits the worst of both Hitler and Marx" Actually letter to editer quote in my local paper.
Maybe Conservatives are just stupid.

yeah, I'm pretty sure they are. What it really seems to amount to is that Fox News and Rush call her a crazy super-leftwing socialist-communist, and since they are incapable of independent thought... Look at that pathetic reasoning above by Doug
