Brit Hume had an item on it tonight, this is all I could find on line. But politicians are likely to take note. The sitting Democrat Mayor of Indianapolis had millions in the bank, the challenger was broke and unknown. The incumbent started running ads pointing out that the challenger was in-experienced, in essence, not a politician. People remembered his name and the rest, as they say, is history. Heh!
What a refreshing election! The fact that an under-funded (or, more appropriately, unfunded) candidate could beat an incumbent who clearly thought himself invincible provides renewed optimism that the democratic system is alive and well in Indianapolis.

"provides renewed optimism that the democratic system is alive and well in Indianapolis". But doesn't say too much ,good, about the democrat party in Indianapolis.
