Why Do Liberals Eat Their Young?

Surprise, surprise, CNN had the courage to put the blame for the Frost fiasco right where it belongs, on the Democrats:

This morning, CNN aired its first report on the right-wing smear campaign against 12-year old SCHIP recipient Graeme Frost. CNN pinned the blame on Democrats for assault on the Frost family.

The Democrats can't afford to have the debate be about means-testing, or income guidelines when it comes to government entitlements. The liberal cult of victimization, more ad campaign, than it is debating a political agenda, would paint every American as a victim of one thing, or another - and all in need of more and more government help.

The result of liberal Democrat thinking would be an America where no one takes responsibility for anything and as much money and power flow to the government, allowing the political class in this country to control as much of our lives as possible.

And if they have to toss a few children into the pot in their pathetic attempts to achieve it, so what? Why should the means matter, when the liberals end game is simply more power for them and a less free, and ultimately weaker American citizenry?

I don't think you meant to bring ironic humor to your "very serious" comment, but you did. You blame the dems for wanting to insure poor kids, but in your comment, you say the enactment of S-chip would produce a "weaker American citizenry". How can providing health care to poor children result in weakening the citizenry? I know your thought process is rather dismal, but please. Worshiping the loser in chief is your problem. If only the Frost family had just sit down and shut up, they wouldn't get gut checked by the rabid right wingers. The Frosts stood up to extol the virtues of SCHIP, therefore they are fair game for complete fabrications of fact (to review the granite counter tops were concrete, the $400k house was $260k, the $40k education was $500, and the family was totally eligible for CHIP no matter how you cut it) as well as harassing phone calls and people stalking them through their kitchen windows.

If only Graeme had said no to that evil Nancy Pelosi, the wingers wouldn't have to give him such a beating. If only Rosa Parks gave up her seat to that white fella, she wouldn't have been harassed and arrested. ($5 says this comment provokes someone saying Democrats are racists...) What a joke.

It is true that the Frost's are getting ripped. But, for years now, once you put yourself into the middle of the political debate, that is going to happen. Please, do not try to argue that this is a right only thing. This is a right/left political thing. The Frost's privacy was voluntarily given up when they agreed to be a part of a political campaign. Do you honestly believe that if Bush had trotted out some family to support his views, the left would have just said "Oh, OK". The Democrats knew full what would happen. Did they even warn the Frosts? Probably not, since they didn't even vet them very well. BTW, what ever happened to Cindy Sheehan now that she isn't needed.

When I read this insanity on the part of CNN, I am reminded of a rapist’s classic defense — “Well, she was asking for it!”

Following this logic, a woman shouldn’t go out in public — ever. And anyone who is helped by a government program shouldn’t praise that program — ever (unless, of course, it’s a government program the conservatives are championing).

It’s as if we finally recognize that the wingnuts are pure evil personified and have become beyond redemption. Therefore, it’s now the responsibility of the rest of us to stay out of their way to avoid being injured — and it’s our fault if we stray too close.

I watched the Rep. debate this week and I heard I think Finegold say that him and that idiot Chucky Schumer want to devide Iraq into three states. Then have a central Goverment with limited power.
