And todays winner of the worst case of moral equivalence evah has to be MSNBC's resident idiot Keith Olberman for comparing Burma's Monks to terrorists being held in Guantanamo. video here
Dana Perino: Well, unfortunately, intimidation and force can chill peaceful demonstrations. And reports about very innocent people being thrown into detention, where they could be held for years without any representation or charges, is distressing; and we understand that some of the monasteries have been sealed. Now, obviously, this has, again, a chilling effect on protestors, but we would ask that everyone show restraint and allow those who want to express themselves to be able to do so in Burma.
Olber-oof: You got a map? You know where Florida is? Go to the right. Lower. Lower. Bottom of that long, thin island right there. Read what it says. Right, Guantanamo Bay. Now go look up reports about very innocent people being thrown into detention where they could be held for years without any representation or charges. By your bosses. At Guantanamo Bay.

I was tempted to comment: Right Dan are you trying to tell me that the resisters being held in Gitmo are really any difffent then (sic) these Burmese Monks? Fascist!!!!!!!!
The problem today is the left are so wacked it would be hard to tell whether my comment was that of a conservative being sarcastic or a leftist being serious.

Ah, but these were no ordinary monks. They wer like, you know, super dangerous Shao-lin ninja monks with magically delicious powers and even worse, dangerous ideas.
Or so the Burmese secret police thought as they mowed them down dead to a man.
