Obama For President

Between this latest pathetic nonsense from the New York Times and Obama's apparently clueless detachment from middle-America's values and expectations, maybe it's time for NYC to declare itself an independent nation and appoint Obama President, or czar, whichever they prefer. It would make this particular culture war that much more clear and remove any obstacles to making it a Hot one we could quickly win, lending us momentum as we continue toward victory in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The other candidates all had hands over hearts. Obama had plenty of time to put his hand up, and did not. He appears to be playing to some group with this, because no serious politician would get this wrong by mistake. If this is a mistake, he's not smart enough to be President. If this was (as I think) a planned lack of patriotism for some group, then he puts politics in front of country, and does not deserve the job of President.

I don't remember any other national politician doing this. Truly sad.

Note for Dan: Next time, warn us about the singing. Man alive! I can sing better than that! That was the worst butchering of our national anthem I've heard since Roseanne. Wow!

Obama's "country" is the Islamic Ummah (the global Caliphate) and his "god" is a Middle-Eastern moon demon (idol).

That's one reason I can think of for him to make such an unpatriotic gesture. He should re-consider his citizenship, much less his candidacy for POTUS if he cannot even muster up a citizen's salute for our national flag and anthem. Perhaps the UK, Sweden, or Norway might be more to his liking. I understand they have muzzies and socialised medicine there by the truckload.
