Update: More background at Snappedshot - Google may have a defense.
Well, this is bizarre - you can't run a negative ad regarding MoveOn.Org on Google because you can't use their name, according to Google? What a crock. Lance Dutson posts a complete chat text with Google over the issue at link above and Robert Cox addresses it here at The Examiner.
Don't look for too many liberals, allegedly concerned with free speech, to have an opinion on this issue. They don't support freedom unless it involves forwarding their destructive political agenda.

There certainly is a principle here, but the LL won't see it.
But as a practical matter there are lots of ways of blocking ALL ads on Google which I have been doing for some time because of the offensiveness of so many "on-line" adds (seizure-inducing jigglies being the primary targets).
