How well informed is Rodham Clinton that she didn't know what we've know for months - that the Surge is working?

She holds herself out as qualified to be the next POTUS and CIC yet in reality she's as poorly informed as that dunce in Stamford.

In all of Iraq yesterday there were, according to AP, 4 people killed by the terrorists (8 according to ROP). Would someone wake up boob and tell him it's 2013.

"How well informed is Rodham Clinton..."

Very well informed (assuming she bothers to look at anything). She's on the senate Armed Services committee.

PA

I'm assuming she didn't know that the Surge is working wonders. If she did and still called Petraeus a liar then she's an idiot who can't see past the end of her nose. She's provided the GOP with priceless campaign footage.

Hillary is not uninformed. She is not an idiot. She is, however, a liar.

"--- Hillary is not uninformed. She is not an idiot. She is, however, a liar. ---"

And she is also a carpetbagging flea-bitten damnyankee who is so homely, that I'd have to tie a pork chop around her neck to get any of my coon dogs to even get an inkling to get near her.

Uninformed or Liar- just as long as she's not POTUS. But if she is informed, she's have to be pretty stupid to think her credibility won't be seriously damaged when the truth emerges.

From Purp: "Very well informed (assuming she bothers to look at anything). She's on the senate Armed Services committee."

You can lead a horse's a-- to information, but you can't make it honest enough to admit its truth.

"...will someone wake up boob and tell him its 2013."

LOL! Time flies when you're having fun and that one had to hurt the boob. Touche, Terry!

During the Petraeus hearings she stated that Civilian casualties were climbing due to the surge.

For humour's sake, here is a screen capture of the planned Goolag.com, the new face of Google... which has sworn to pummel any advertisement not heralding the triumphant and loverly and fresh lemony-scented Liberalness to come into utter nothingness:

At the time Luttrell and Murphy, his best friend, knew that "a massive mistake had been made." He writes, "I had actually cast a vote which I knew could sign our death warrant. I'd turned into a…liberal, a half-assed, no-logic nitwit, all heart, no brain, and the judgment of a jackrabbit."

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=MDc1M2QzYTIyODNkZmQ4NzRiN2MwNTE5NzA5ZjlkMDI=

An apt description of a liberal, Lala. Very sad that this story has not been told in the the paper of record, but it is as expected, a half-assed, no-logic nitwit, all heart, no brain, and the judgment of a jackrabbit would never have printed the story anyway. That would have been a difficult decision, but our men should have done what was neccessary to save their lives, rather than fall into the trap of political correctness. More lives lost to that madness.

Is there anyone who hasn't betrayed anyone else in this twisted tangle of logic? Can't you just lead your post with "EVIL EVIL EVIL" and drown your computer in holy water? It would save us some reading.

Dems betrayed MoveOn? No? MoveOn betrayed Dems? Everything is rosy in Iraq? Flowers? Candy? Ponies?

It's been a month and Republicans are just about ready to cave, pull out, and declare victory. A shame really. This explains why Graham and McCain shat a brick over "phony" General Sanchez's testimony. If we're not winning than we might have to stay past the Nov '08 elections. And after so much Iraq victory, it would be a shame for voters to toss the Republicans out because all they saw was a half trillion dollar debt and a continued bloody civil war.

Lala, after reading the missive of a half-assed, no-logic nitwit, all heart, no brain, with the judgment of a jackrabbit, by the name of IslamoLlama, I rest my case.

"It's been a month and Republicans are just about ready to cave, pull out, and declare victory."

Uh-huh, and I'm sure you have a link or two to prove that statement.

Meantime, in the real World, not the Nutroot version IslamoBoob inhabits, even the Washington Post, you know, that conservative daily in the nation's capital, has declared that the Surge is working. Islamo's head must be about ready to explode. LOL.

From that same WSJ editorial, besides the comment about Pelosi:

Despite their howls about "the children," Democrats and their media partners are happy to milk them for political gain.

More Vets that don't seem to agree with the Iraq is Going Great view. Gee, how to smear them?

There is one way we might be able to succeed in Iraq. To continue an operation of this intensity and duration, we would have to abandon our volunteer military for compulsory service. Short of that, our best option is to leave Iraq immediately. A scaled withdrawal will not prevent a civil war, and it will spend more blood and treasure on a losing proposition.

America, it has been five years. It's time to make a choice.

WorstCommenterEver asks the musical question:

"America, it has been five years. It's time to make a choice."

But WCE, where the hell have you been? This question has been answered by almost every major Democratic except Richardson, who hasn't a chance in hell of being nominated BTW. The answer from Hill, Reid, etc, is: stay the course. The Dems in Congress haven't made a move to defund the war. Perhaps you are supporting the wrong party. You might wish to join Ned Lamont and his loser party, where you would be warmly welcomed.

First - Hillary = Jane Fonda;
Second - The US has committed itself to this war; you CANNOT support the troops(those exceptional individuals and their families who have sacrificed for our country) and not support the war! Whether one agrees with it or not, critisizing the war is also critisizing the dedicated troops....are we going to treat them like the Vietnam Vets???? Our freaking liberal media, and all it's critisizm, has adverse effect on our troops and is not appreciated by them or their families.
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't ask that, returning Veterans asked it. Click the Link.

Miss your Civic's Classes Fred? We're still a Democracy. It takes 60 votes to get anything through the Senate, then 2/3s to override Bush's veto.

On November 17, 2005, Representative John Murtha introduced H.J.RES.73[8] to the House 109th Congress: a resolution calling for U.S. forces in Iraq to be "redeployed at the earliest practicable date" to stand as a quick-reaction force in U.S. bases in neighboring countries such as Kuwait. In response, Republicans proposed a resolution that "the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately," without any provision for redeployment, which was voted down 403-3.

On June 16, 2006, the House voted 256-153 in a non-binding resolution against establishing a deadline for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. Republican then-House Majority Leader John Boehner, who argued against a deadline, stated "achieving victory is our only option", and "we must not shy away". On the other hand, Democratic then-House Minority Leader and current Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi argued that a deadline is necessary, and stated "'stay the course' is not a strategy, it's a slogan", and "it's time to face the facts." [9]

On March 27, 2007, Congress passed H.R. 1591, which called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops in Iraq by March 2008. However, President Bush vetoed the bill and the House of Representatives failed to override the veto.[10] Congress then passed H.R. 2206, which provided funding for the Iraq War through September 30, 2007 and was signed into law by President Bush on May 25, 2007. H.R. 2206 included eighteen benchmarks for the Iraqi government to meet.[11]

On May 9, 2007, Representative James McGovern introduced H.R. 2237[12] to the House: "To provide for the redeployment of United States Armed Forces and defense contractors from Iraq." The bill failed with a vote of 255 to 171, thirteen of the Nays coming from Democrats representing districts won by John Kerry in 2004.[citation needed]

On July 12, 2007 the House passed H.R. 2956 by a vote of 223 to 201, for redeployment (or withdrawal) of U.S. armed forces out of Iraq. The resolution requires most troops to withdraw from Iraq by April 1, 2008.[13][14][10]

On July 18, 2007, after an all-night debate, the Senate blocked the passage of a bill that would have set a troop withdrawal timetable with a vote of 52-47. The withdrawal would have started within 120 days, and would have required that all troops (except an unspecified number could be left behind to conduct a very narrow set of missions) be out of the country by April 30, 2008.[15]

But as usual, he/she left a few inconvenient truths out:

"Only two of the 12 captains had been in Iraq as late as 2006, with the rest all departing in 2005 or before. None of them are currently on active duty."

But to read about what some soldiers serving there at this moment think go here:

Turd Merchant - your killin' me Fred. What a wit. ROTFLMAO!!!

Like I said. Let the Smear begin. It goes starts like this: Yeah, they're vets, but not really because they haven't been in Iraq for a year or two, and everything's sooooo different now, you wouldn't recognize it, hardly the same war at all. Those vets don't know everything I know from watching Faux News and reading Dan Riehl, so it's OK to attack them. They shouldn't have opened their mouths, after all.

Well, well WCE, you are beginning to show some understanding of the situation, as I'm sure your military training has helped you gain. "Yeah, they're vets, but not really because they haven't been in Iraq for a year or two, and everything's sooooo different now, you wouldn't recognize it, hardly the same war at all." I could not have said it better myself. I salute you, well maybe not that, but congratulations anyway.

Well said, WCE, couldn't have said it better myself. That military training you've had is starting to show some results. You seem to finally be getting an understanding of the situation. I salute yo...well, no not that, but I congratulate you.

Wapo editor: Say, Louie, did you line up those newly returned Iraq vets yet so you can write that article about how they say we are failing in Iraq?

Wapo reporter: Gee, no, chief. All the newly returned vets are saying things are much better there now and that we seem to be winning.

Wapo ed: Louie, I'll only say this once. If you want to keep your job her you got to be resourceful. Now get your a-- out there pronto and find some disgruntled vets, even if they haven't been there in a while.

Hey Louie:

The real secret to making disgruntled soldiers is to use this here "Ball-Peen Rubber Mallet of Gruntling™".

Smack them about the toes and ankles with this mighty mallet, and render them many mighty strikes about the shins, and they will be disgruntled in no time flat.
