Gore Prize: A Much Deserved Win
Unfortunately, and mostly due to liberalism, the Nobel Prize has become all but meaningless. With past winners like Arafat, Carter, and ElBaradei, none of whom achieved anything significant, or lasting, it's become the perfect emblem for symbolism over substance and politics over accomplishment. I can't think of anyone who deserves the win more this year than Gore.
I think talk of what it might do as far as any Presidential bid is over-rated. I just don't think all that many Americans care.
Round up here.

Sour grapes...
Boo f'ing Hoo.

Horray! Everyone who didn't see this posting coming has never heard a right-wing blogger before.
Congrats, Dan. You're offically worth a shot down at Balloon Juice.

You advocating any murders this morning, IslamoBoob. As soon as you advocated killing people, you should have been kicked off this blog, you POS.
As for the Goricle winning the Nobel Peace Prize, I could care less. But someone suggested on another thread that Gore should give the prize money to the Frosts, not MoveOn.org. Now that would be truly liberal, something you two boobs and Al Gore know nothing about.

And I suppose Kissinger deserved his?
Honestly Dan. Try to have some perspective.

I got every air conditioner in my house running at full blast.....with all the windows and doors wide open..........I am just doing my part to stop global warming.........If everyone in the world would do that we would be fine.............

I've got the perfect campaign slogan for His Goricular Majesty when or if he jumps into the presidential race:
"Al Gore: He's Going to Save the World Whether You Like It or Not."

How predictable. I think Talking Points MEmo said it best:
"First, before any other yapping and commentary, a big congratulations to Al Gore.
There are several layers of irony and poetic justice wrapped into this honor. The first is that the greatest step for world peace would simply have been for Gore not to have had the presidency stolen from him in November 2000. By every just measure, Gore won the presidency in 2000 only to have George W. Bush steal it from him with the critical assistance of the US Supreme Court. It's worth taking a few moments today to consider where the country and world would be without that original sin of this corrupt presidency.
And yet this is a fitting bookend, with Gore receiving this accolade while the sitting president grows daily an object of greater disapproval, disapprobation and collective shame. And let's not discount another benefit: watching the rump of the American right detail the liberal bias of the Nobel Committee and at this point I guess the entire world. Fox News vs. the world.
And not to forget what this award is about even more than Gore. If half of what we think we know about global warming is true, people will look back fifty years from now on the claims that "War on Terror" was the defining challenge of this century and see it as a very sick, sad joke -- which rather sums up the Bush presidency.
But more than thinking only of what might have been, where can we go from here?"
Enjoy!

Gore is a nitwit with delusions of granduer...his propaganda piece now comes with disclaimers required by the British court to address the "significant errors" in his film. The man has serious mental health issues, and cares only about his own self-aggrandizement. He has successfully co-opted a scientific debate for the greater glory of ALGORE...and brainwashed an entire generation of dimwitted liberals in the process.
It is very straightforward...if you respect or support ALGORE, you are a fool.

Come back and tell us what you think of Al Gore's take on global warming in 30 years. I predict not a single one of you who are alive to see the predictions come true will ever have the nerve to admit you were wrong and that your obstructiionist lying resulted in at least two decades of lost time.
FYI the judge agreed that the facts show that global warming is due to human activity...but he considered some of his findings 'alarmist' and felt some of what he said wasn't sufficiently substantiated such as the ocean's rising several feet in the near term or Katrina being a result of global warming.

But.. but... he (Gore) is like... totally cereal!

Anthropogenic Global Warming... feh.
I think I like Emperor Misha I's (over at Anti-Idiotarian Empire) where he refers to it as "glowbull worming".
Any trend toward a warming climate still falls short of the Medieval Climatic Optimum from approx. AD 900-1300, which saw grapes and winemaking as far north as Scotland, and Vikings building up their empire across a Greenland that was actually Green (i.e. no big honkin' ice cap).
Funny thought, but I guess those Polar Bears back then handled things well enough, I reckon they'll swim just fine on over to the next iceberg.

All the sour grapes I'm reading today are all coming from Left as they work themselves into a froth so they can properly respond to the Right going "Meh" collectively.

"You advocating any murders this morning, IslamoBoob. As soon as you advocated killing people, you should have been kicked off this blog, you POS."
Hahahaha. Talk to TK about that one, or Dan for that matter. No one has been more about torture, imprisonment, and senseless murder than the fighting 101st keyboard commandos.
"All the sour grapes I'm reading today are all coming from Left as they work themselves into a froth so they can properly respond to the Right going "Meh" collectively."
Give it a week. The wingnuts need a little time to work themselves into high gear. You can't really Beauchamp a guy on the turn of a dime. Gotta bust out those Tonka toys in your sandbox, or maybe try to get a look at Al's counter tops. Give Stalkin' Malkin a few days of incubation, and she'll be posting spittle-flecked photoshops of Al Gore and writing diatribes about how she wouldn't debate him either, even if he asked nicely.

It's a sad day for science. But as Dan mentioned, the Nobel has become pretty much meaningless anyway.
Sour grapes? Nah. I really don't care about Gore one way or the other. I'm just disappointed that a formerly prestigious award has been reduced to little more than the Teen People's Choice awards.

I think Arafat achieved something lasting. 30+ years of murder with no end in sight. Jimmy, too.
Company the Goracle is happy to keep, it seems.

Why don't you post a link where I've advocated torture, murder and imprisonment, you lying POS? I'm calling you out on it, you little cowardly bastard. Now put up, or STFU from now on.

"Come back and tell us what you think of Al Gore's take on global warming in 30 years"...Try 10 years, "nowinki" -- global cooling should be kicking in quite well about then. And if you think I'm kidding, just wait around.

Wow, it looks like IslamoLlama is supporting the troops again by accusing them of being murderers, unless Dan and TK have been going over to Iraq and committing murders, which would then disqualify them from entry into the "101st keyboard commandos".
Are you accusing our troops in Iraq of murder, IslamoLlama?

I see the little worm known as the IslamoBoob has run like the little bitch he is. Coward. Just don't come back, you little totalitarian slut.
