Right down to the nearest Mental Health Clinic, be sure to stop and collect $200 in graft, or bribes from any deranged morons incapable of figuring out your sad act and try to attend an anger management class, or two on your way. Extra points if you win the Buckwheat impersonation contest for good measure. Blech!

McKinney posted a letter on her Web site last month saying she has no interest in the Green Party nomination. But in recent weeks, she has appeared at fundraisers in California, where a group called Run! Cynthia! Run! is trying to draft her as the party's candidate in California.

Apparently the only qualifications for being a Green Party candidate in California is trooferism and BDS. I don't remember McKinney being an environmentalist, but hey, she might have changed after moving to California. Didn't she work on a beach project a couple of weeks ago? LOL!

Does Dan know what the terms "bribe" and "graft" mean? I'm just curious. Or has donating to a liberal candidate become synonymous with corruption in ways that taking $2 million from a housing contractor (a la Cunningham) or kickbacks from corporations in excess of campaign finance laws (a la DeLay) or taking hundreds of thousands from Alaskan building contractors (a la the Stevenson / Young clan) has not?

I just find it hilarious every time a conservative waxes ethical about corruption.

Vicki Leidner, chairwoman of the Feminst Issues Group of the San Francisco Green Party, hosted a fund-raiser for McKinney two weekends ago when, she said, “we raised a good chunk of money, especially for someone who hasn’t declared she is running.”

Leidner said McKinney has sought to keep a low profile in moving to the San Francisco area, where she has been accepted as a doctoral student at the University of California at Berkeley. “After you been through the things she’s been through, you learn to be a little quiet about things,” Leidner said…
