PORKBUSTERS UPDATE: So much for open government. "Things get heated as Sharyl Attkisson tracks down Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, D-Ohio, to question her about a $2 million earmark benefiting paint company Sherwin Williams." Ouch. How dare you question o... [Read More]

Unbridled arrogance! Un-freakin-believable. The congresswoman tells the reporter and cameraman to turn the camera off. Standing in the People's House. Kudos to the CBS babe but she'll almost certainly be covering county fairs for the remainder of her career as you just don't challenge the anointed ruling class (lib-democrats) and expect to get away with it.

Hammer... meet nail-head.

CBS-babe just picked the wro-hong moonbat mama to mess with. The Liberal MSM will bury her at some fourth-rate village covering the naval bases in Montana.

WOW.

"Turn the camera off"

You hear that taxpayers? Elected Democrat DEMANDS her criminality be not broadcast.

Oh lord, the reporter should have just snatched the bitch up, smacked her around a bit.

Body advancing menacingly and hand reached out and grabbed wrist. Is this battery, legaleagle?

harassment in legal terms act or threat of violence ,putting another in fear either by words or deeds

Not that I'm on the Congresswoman's side or anything, but...
for the average person, if you're approached out of the blue by a camera & mic toting reporter, you'd have to be COMPLETELY NUTS to say ANYTHING. Can you say ambush journalism?
Now, in the congresswoman's case, things should be different: 1) she's probably used to dealing with reporters, 2) she's probably been dodging this reporter all week, and 3) she's probably guilty as hell, and on my dime to boot.

Ambush journalism? Heck yeah, the congressperson had been dodging every interview request behind her wall of interns and assistants and call screeners. Tubbsy brought on her ambush.

How the roaches scurry when the lights come on.

Does anyone wonder how this would have gone down behind closed doors? Grabbing the reporter should be on her next opponent's campaign commercial tomorrow.

Second thought, what if that was a Republican male grabbing that reporter's arm? Hmmmm?

So, this is what Pelosi's most open, most ethical Congress in history looks like?

Gee.

I'm shocked.

How dare that vulture from the right wing-controlled news media attempt to hold one of our anointed ones accountable for her actions. After all, that upstanding steward of the people knows best how our money should be spent.

The congresswoman would have to be nuts not to earmark the heck out of everything. Thats just good constituent service.

its really annoying how they filter the contact forms to exclude zip codes not in their district. it adds an extra 15 seconds to time to email them.

And Rix hereby jumps on the bandwagon to a bankrupt country. Thanks Rix!

Unfortunately, Tubbs-Jones is in the same sort of safe district here that Kucinich is. I would love to see this lead to her eventual dismissal, but I'm not optimistic.

That's not good constituent service. That's bad taxpayer service.

She lives in Shaker Heights! Ritzy suburb of Cleveland
