Col. David Hunt's Old News
I don't know what Col. David Hunt is up to I generally appreciate his stuff. Fox link here. Despite protestations to the contrary, he appears to be regurgitating old news for buzz without providing any new details.
Those who were yelling or using me on their TV shows — without bringing me on to comment — are hardly worth the print space. I am not that big a deal. Besides, these things are of little consequence when you realize how we missed, squandered, screwed up, made a mess of and were massively risk adverse — again — when we did not kill Usama bin Laden in Afghanistan just two short months ago.
See The Long War Journal and Prairie Pundit here. Google the blogs for August
Another official said that intelligence analysts believed strongly that there was a high probability that “either HVT-1 or HVT-2 was there,” using U.S. intelligence descriptions — high value targets — for Bin Laden and Zawahiri. He added that while opinion inside the agency was divided, many believed it was Bin Laden rather than Zawahiri who was present. The reason: “They thought they spotted his security detail,” said the official, a large al Qaeda security detail — the kind of protection that would normally surround only Bin Laden, or Zawahiri.
I mentioned it here and I think elsewhere.

Just want to let you know that there are going to be a bunch of shows in the United Kingdom next week that are going to give anti War on Terror Perspective. Not suprising of course but just wanted to give a heads up.

this is the guy who had "the sky is falling" attitude very early on that our army couldn't go house to house cleaning out rat's nests. he was wrong and has been irrelevant to me ever since. i do respect his former service and feel kinda bad saying that, but oh well.

Maybe it was a timing thing. If they kill bin Laden now, the war is over, right? Or at least the main incentive for the war, at least in Afghanistan is over, right. Maybe the Pentagon is not ready to stop fighting yet.

Good Lord, patriots. It has been over SIX years since 9/11. How about justifying all those hundreds of billions spent, huh?

The surrender enthusiast has spoken. After six years -my goodness six !!!, six !!! you hear, six whole years !!! it's past time to stop fighting and surrender.

If only we had surrendered sooner, we could also have the burqa factories running fullspeed and our kids rocking back and forth memorizing the Koran. Instead we've senselessly delayed the inevitable.

Actually, I'm pretty sure BobinStamford is actually a rightie just having fun. I've never seen a typo in any of his posts. He actually seems to have a sense of humor....

The Decider promised you Patriots to smoke bin Laden out of his hole and bring him to justice. When is that going to happen? Where are the WMDs? Keep losing those wars and elections, heroes. It suits you!
The SURGE is WORKING!!!

Bob, a little history about the NorthWest Frontier is in order. The Brits, no shrinking
violets, back then; went into that area around
1819; they fought war in and around that area;
in 1837-1841; Lost 10,000 men, another in the late 1880s and one in Waziristan proper after 1919. They also ran separate stand alone campaigns there in, 1858 in Buner, 1877 in the
Tirah, 1897 in Malakand where Churchill got his start. The last major campaign was against a local warlord called the Fakir; that lasted from
1936-1961; and he died peacefully in bed.

narciso, boob gets terribly confused when you confront him with historical facts. It's best to let him stew in his delusional juices.

Yes, Bob... The SURGE is WORKING!!!
Sucks to be you, no?

The Boob sincerely queries with this beaut: "Good Lord, patriots. It has been over SIX years since 9/11. How about justifying all those hundreds of billions spent, huh?"
Why are you asking this goofy question of us, Mr. christamfordmum? You should be asking it of your senator Dobb or Dube or whatever, and also of your congresspersonage. As you pretend not to know, Congress justifies and authorizes spending under our form of government. All we do here is blab in an effort to educate know-nothings like you, my very dear friend.
