America's worst President, Jimmah Carter - and Bush-haters, don't kid yourselves, Carter was run out of the White House on a rail, hopefully one his drunken brother hadn't urinated on, and America as a whole hasn't come close to disliking Bush the way it did Carter.
I mean, come on - four years post Nixon and America went back to a Republican? Only a liberal could squander the advantage of an impeached Republican President in so short a time. That's how bad Carter truly was. But failure isn't enough for the old nut. Nah, he has to embarass himself and the nation every chance he gets. Why doesn't he just wet himself like others similarly suffering, or, you know, his brother did in his prime?
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The United States tortures prisoners in violation of international law, former President Carter said Wednesday.
Jimmah Carter, the biggest nut ever raised up down in Plains.

Speaking of drunk family members of Presidents, what has Laura been up to lately? I wonder if she still feels bad about mowing down Michael Douglas in a drunken rage.
You patriots inspire us all.

No less than your boy Tedward "Dude.... where's my waterlogged car and that women I was with" Kennedy.
Gotta be careful not to light a match around the good senator - he is something like 86-proof on any given day.

And did I hear right that Teddy darling named his dog Splash?
I'm not crazy about Imus but I always enjoyed it when, whenever Teddy's name was mentioned, they played a tape of screeching tires, screams, and splashing.

Dan, that picture of Carter doesn't do anything for me, and as bad as he is, it's not really fair to him. Isn't there something with him accepting money from the Saudi's or kowtowing to Hugo Chavez, or someone like that, that you could put up. There's got to be plenty of those around.

Haha. Yes, its true. Reagan lied his way into the White House twice, cutting deals with Iranian Revolutionaries and Contra Rebels, while spinning myths about welfare queens and voodoo economics.
So now, when the Heir of Reagan, Bush 43, gets caught in perhaps the biggest scandal since Nixon, its time to tear Jimmah Carter a new one for pointing out the obvious. Again.
Yawn. Trapped in Malkin-land, the only option is to bash on a world renowned humanitarian and peace activist like he was a 12-year-old coma patient. I'm sure this sort of rhetoric will really win the people over in '08.

The new numbers—a 2 point drop from the last NEWSWEEK Poll at the beginning of May—are statistically unchanged, given the poll’s 4 point margin of error. But the 26 percent rating puts Bush lower than Jimmy Carter, who sunk to his nadir of 28 percent in a Gallup poll in June 1979. In fact, the only president in the last 35 years to score lower than Bush is Richard Nixon. Nixon’s approval rating tumbled to 23 percent in January 1974, seven months before his resignation over the botched Watergate break-in.

In a sweeping indictment of the four-year effort in Iraq, the former top American commander called the Bush administration’s handling of the war incompetent and warned that the United States was “living a nightmare with no end in sight.”
