Al Gore Awarded PhD
It seems Al Gore has been awarded a PhD, given that global warming is regarded as a scientific issue and Gore is on an urgent mission, he must be a scientist, correct? I mean, if not, that would mean the most important missions re global warming are political in nature, and not of the scientific variety. And we know that can't possibly be the case. Right?
I just got a call from Vice President Al Gore. He told me that he needs to travel abroad tomorrow for an exciting and urgent mission that could result in a major breakthrough in the fight against global warming.
You should know that only the most urgent global warming mission has called him out of the country.

Dan's just a bit jealous. Gore gets Oscars, Emmies, and PhDs, but where is the love for all those brave and bold Republicans who have helped save us from the invisible army of invading brown people? What a world, what a world!
This is proves that America has a liberal bias.

All is well. Bonnie Raitt can take over all the scientific tasks required to demonstrate the immediate and horrific effects of warming of the globe and of the reelection of Barbie Boxer.

"This is proves "
Yes, just as you are a testament to our wonderful public education system, my friend.

Say, Islamo-Moe, would you like to debate the need to expand S-CHIP using facts and logic. I put this comment in another place here but you might be interested.
"Ready? If you think the Frost kid makes a good example why we need more S-CHIP it follows logically that if we put a kid up from a conservative family in roughly the same financial situation as that kid and this new kid says, "I don't need to be covered by S-Chip because my family has health insurance." that would be one to one for the debate. So far the debate would be tied one to one. Agreed, Tano, or anybody?"

Hey Fred, how'd the wingnut campaign to split the California electoral vote go anyway? Man, what an epic failure. But don't worry, I'm sure the wingnut resurgence is eminent. That global warming denial goes a long way towards winning the vote, kinda like how denying cigarettes cause cancer and asbestos causes lung problems won such epic support.
You guys are running on all the right issues.

I guess that's a no. Well Tano may still answer my other offer.
"You guys are running on all the right issues." Hey, now now now. How about them Cowboys.
Perhaps you could help me with this, Moe. I believe Hillery's proposal to pay each newborn $5000 would be financed by an increase on the tax of tobacco products, or was that the expansion of S-CHIP. In either case do you believe it is smart to add to tobacco taxes to pay for social programs at the same time legislators are making smoking illegal in more and more places. If there are no more places for the poor, who are the majority of smokers, to smoke, why the heck wouldn't domestic tobacco revenues continue to drop and thereby dry up the tax revenues? What am I missing?

Al Gore couldn't organize an urgent mission to 7-11 to get a slurpee.

What is an "invisible army of invading brown people"?

"--- What is an "invisible army of invading brown people"? ---"
It is a racist term used to describe the Democrat denial that there is an illegal immigration problem coming from Mexico.

I don't completely disagree that we have a serious problem in our borders; drugs, criminals that are thriving from the "illegals", and politicians that see it as their pass to DC are the real issues. This is still the country of opportunities, instead of overthinking of stupid terms such as "invisble army of invading brown people" go take advantage of the millions of opportunities that are still out there, and along with "the army of brown people" start living the American Dream.
