Actually, Thompson looks great in the overall numbers out of Iowa via Rasmussen - second to Romney with 19%. But if the Dems nominate Hillary as it appears they will, the numbers below would likely produce a disaster in the General.
Romney and Thompson are essentially even among men, but Thompson attracts only 10% of the vote from women. In fact, Romney, Huckabee, and Giuliani all outpoll Thompson for the female vote.
It's because they don't want to f*** him. Women are very predictable.
That was a serious analysis, by the way. Or, practically, most women aren't looking to bang politicians... but subconsciously via evolution, women are very motivated by certain traits in a leader, and Thompson doesn't have much of them anymore. I could explain more, but I won't.
