Yesterday Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed there were no homosexuals in Iran.
Evidently Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco claims something similar when it comes to Marines. Too bad some San Fran pols can't appreciate the very people who so valiantly stand between them and a tyrant like Ahmadinejad, who'd simply hang members of the city's high profile gay community if he had his way. Can we question their patriotism now?
SAN FRANCISCO, Sep. 24, 2007 (KGO) - New York said "yes," but we said "no." Why were the U.S. Marines denied permission to film a recruiting commercial on the streets of San Francisco?
San Francisco is, once again, the center of a controversy over how city leaders treat the U.S. military. This time, it involves an elite group of Marines who wanted to film a recruitment commercial in San Francisco on the anniversary of 9/11.
The tension has been building in the two weeks since the city turned away

50 years ago almost to the day, President Eisenhower sent 101st Airborne Division troops into Little Rock, Ark, to ensure white mobs would not be allowed to infringe the civil rights of African-Americans. A few members of the mob were bayoneted; none were killed.
Why should our current President not do the same for the U.S. Marines? Don't those whose service allows Frisco (they hate that name) to be the free, though wacky and intolerant, nuthouse it is to exist have the rights to use it streets in an orderly fashion?
George Bush should order a significant number of marines with fixed bayonets from Camp Pendleton to Frisco early Sunday mourning to take over whatever streets it sees fit and make their commercial. Then leave the way they came. Enough is enough.

A few mistakes in above. Screw it; you'll understand what I mean.

These people are completely incapable of the kind of rational thought which would allow them to see the connection between the freedoms they enjoy and our military.

Hahahahahahahaha! In the words of Dear Leader, "Bring it on!"
I eagerly await Bush to finally put the stamp on the police state he's been slowly drafting. Once people realize exactly how totalitarian the regime is aiming to be, there will be blood in the streets. And it won't be the blood of liberals.

Liberals are the enemy within, and they're holed up in San Fran-sicko. And the previous comment shows just how far gone the libs are - calling for armed revolt.

My God, sir, you are an idiot. Was it a police state action when Eisenhower did it? Frisco is the rogue police state wannabe. They claim rights they don't have as a city and break federal and state laws frequently. Why don't you go back to school. Perhaps you will learn something as an adult that escaped you as a child. Better yet go live in Frisco. You would certainly be welcomed warmly there.

"Was it a police state action when Eisenhower did it?"
Did Eisenhower throw Americans in jail indefinitely? How many people did Eisenhower have unlawfully arrested and tortured? Even Vice President Nixon didn't have the gaul to claim he wasn't part of the Executive Branch when it didn't suit him, and if he had I doubt Eisenhower would have backed him up. I also don't remember Eisenhower outing CIA operatives over a political tiff or putting wiretaps on American citizens without even getting a warrant. That you can claim Bush's reign of incompetence was anything close to Eisenhower's terms in office only illustrates who needs to hit the history books.
If I can think of a 50s world leader who has more accurately approached Bush's style, I'd have to look at Chairman Mao. You've got your cult of personality, your warmongering, your xenophobia, and your clinical stupidity all rolled into one. Even Bush's Great Leap For... err... New Way Forward seems to play the same verbal games.

"Did Eisenhower throw Americans in jail indefinitely?" Bush threw people in jail? Five names please. No?, how about three?
"How many people did Eisenhower have unlawfully arrested and tortured?"
How many people did Dems FDR and Truman kill unlawfully in the 1940s?
"I also don't remember Eisenhower outing CIA operatives over a political tiff" This is just often-refuted drivel.
"That you can claim Bush's reign of incompetence was anything close to Eisenhower's terms in office only illustrates who needs to hit the history books." Quote where I said anything even remotely close to this, you are a LIAR, winkallama.
"I'd have to look at Chairman Mao." I'll bet you've looked at him long and admiringly.

Let's see:
FDR admin gives syphillis to black men to sse what happens if left untreated. Experiment lasts from 1932-1972
FDR put Japanese Americans in concentration camps
Truman/Eisenhower Korea
Eisenhower sends advisors to Vietnam
Kennedy send more advisors to Vietnam
Johnson sends all sorts of "American boys" to do the job Vietnamese boys" should be doing............

OOOOOHHHHHHHH! I'm soooooo scared of the IslamoLlama. As he hides in the basement. A liberal revolution is right on the horizon, Ziffy declares, and the blood of "not liberals" will be running in the streets. This from a loser of the nth degree. Uh, boy, you better be careful, an off duty Marine is going to kick your ass. But you only talk like this on blogs, or at the local meeting of the anarchnists. What a joke you are, Islamogoof. Hahahahaha!

"A liberal revolution is right on the horizon, Ziffy declares, and the blood of "not liberals" will be running in the streets."
Who is going to do thier fighting? Will they hire Blackwater? Somehow I'm reminded of the brave Polish cavalry charge against a division of Panzers.

"...Somehow I'm reminded of the brave Polish cavalry charge against a division of Panzers."
I'm not, Willie, I'm more reminded of the arogance displayed by Custer as he thought he was going to defeat 10,000 Indians. Nothing brave about these braindead Leftists. But, of course, the Islamoidiots of the Left want the Islamists to fight their battles, thus they ally with them, and show everyone exactly what they are.
Posted by: templar knight | Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 09:32 PM
templar,
The Left will ally with them until they realize that they are subject to be killed just as quickly as the rest of us infidels.
Then they'll whine and quiver and hope that the Marines, or the Army, or the Navy, or SOMEONE in uniform will come to rescue and protect them.

cain't hepp but notice ol' islamoweenie has done gone an' made a *lot* of commentary today. commentary even more loud, aggressive, vitriolic and dumber'n *usual*.
and the terrible scourge of meth claims another victim. obviously, the problem is we haven't made it illegal enough. don't have enough laws against it.

First off, We should let Ahmadmaninadinnerjacket, hoooockpitui! test detonate his first nuclear device in San-Fran-Transvestite free of charge.
Then, as far as your liberal revolution goes, Islamobamarama... I'd love to see what you can do with an SKS or an AK-47. Or a Dragunov, if you even know what that is. Can you group at least four shots with no less than an inch deviation on a target 100 yards downrange - not terribly difficult, mind you)... ?
Do you know the meaning of, and differences between "concealment", "cover", and "camouflage"?
How about "enfilading fire"?
I'll bet the only weapon you even have laying around is a Balisong "butterfly knife" you used to cut yourself with when trying to trick-flip it open to (failingly) impress the 9th graders in the school cafeteria, and maybe a set of rubber-coated numb-chucks (yes, wrong spelling, but it fits a numbskull like yours)... a pair you got at the county fair, or perhaps bought by mail-order through an old Soldier of Fortune magazine back in the days when you thought you could be a "leet ninja" and protect your suburb from crime with your 105lbs. bad self...
I bet you'd pee your pants if you found yourself staring down the barrels of a jeep-mounted SAW or even an M-60, or a farmer sporting an AR-15 or a hunting rifle, much less a Marine with much nastier weapons at his disposal.
Heck, I bet you'd pee yourself if a real Marine just jacked you up because he thought you were another obnoxious but hoity-toity punk, (but in fact a milquetoast, panty-waisted, pasty-faced balding toad of a man with nowhere but the internets to vent your "manly rage".

"Once people realize exactly how totalitarian the regime is aiming to be, there will be blood in the streets. And it won't be the blood of liberals."
Uh huh. What was it I just read...? "No wonder you talk tough; it's all you have"? something like that?
As for police states, let's just add up who is more inconvenienced and by what, shall we?
authority to impose mandatory "implied consent" which violates 4th and 5th Amendments, a manifestation of "liberal" Congresses and the "civil rights" era USSC;
authority to conduct mandatory search and seizure of passengers at airports in violation of the 5thAm, a manifestation of "liberal" legislation;
authority to conduct mandatory search of drivers and passengers for seat belt compliance, a manifestation of yadda;
authority to conduct data-mining of all citizens' financial and other tax records on the premise of finding child support scofflaws -- child support, which is a civil legal action and not criminal or "national security", and is a manifestation of, you guessed it...
authority to wiretap union bosses and suspected organized crime connections, not by legislation or court allowance, but by executive directive, and manifested largely under JFK and LBJ.
I'll stop there, since I wouldn't want to overwhelm you.
Now, let's put those up against the following:
the authority to wiretap extranational phone calls coming into the US from terrorist strongholds, such as NW Pakistan and Paris France, by executive direction;
the authority to datamine phone records for those making calls to, or taking calls from, the aforementioned;
the authority to datamine library lending habits;
the authority to extend the aforementioned warrantless search/seizure at the airport by including shoes, nail clippers and baby bottles...
If you're going to wet your panties over library datamining and running your shoes through the magnetometer, I'll join you; but if you're going to claim that it's a one-sided, uni-natured totalitarianism, then, sorry, you're just going to have to turn your brains in at the door since you are obviously not using them for anything. They aren't there to keep your ears from touching, dimwit.

.
"Did Eisenhower throw Americans in jail indefinitely?"
The Prez doesn't throw people in jail.
"How many people did Eisenhower have unlawfully arrested and tortured?"
Same number as the current hmfwic.
"I also don't remember Eisenhower outing CIA operatives over a political tiff or putting wiretaps on American citizens without even getting a warrant."
I don't recall CIA operatives in the 50s using their official position and access for personal axe-grinding on partisan issues.
But the feds using warrantless wire-tapping has been done since the advent of wires. Don't be naive.
"That you can claim Bush's reign of incompetence was anything close to Eisenhower's terms..."
Here's some for you: how many servicemen did Bush have injured and sickened just for shits-n-grins? How many western-state towns did Bush have exposed to nerve gas and other toxins just to see what it would do? How many times did Bush violate posse comitatus in order to elicit a "public good" of school integration? or, for any other reason?
And if you honestly think that Ike wasn't elected on a personality-cult basis, then you haven't got a clue about the history you're lecturing on.
...which doesn't surprise me at all, since you're pretty much clueless about everything you comment upon save the cliched rhetoric you disgorge. Ike was the American Savior of DubyaDubyaTooo.
Do you even take your words out of the shrink-wrap before you barf them out?
"How about "enfilading fire"?"
As a zoomie, I never had to worry about terms like those.
