And to think, he didn't even require a lawyer to secure his release.
WASHINGTON — U.S.-led forces have killed one of the most important leaders of Al Qaeda in Iraq, a Tunisian believed connected to the kidnapping and killings last summer of American soldiers, a top commander said Friday.
Brig. Gen. Joseph Anderson said the death of the terrorist in a U.S. airstrike Tuesday south of Baghdad, and recent similar operations against Al Qaeda, have left the organization in Iraq fractured.

Good news, but not for the trolls. They will rejump on the phony phony-soldier issue to vent their frustration, I guess.

those bastards probably didn't even read him his rights first!

Yes! A true VICTORY! Now if only the leaders of the other 50-odd 'insurgent' groups can be taken out we may be on to something! I am off to buy another Chinese-made yellow ribbon magnet!

It is good to see that our boys are getting the job dnoe, much to the everlasting chagrin of Al-Qaeda and Al-BoobinStamford (not to mention many of the other America-hating trolls slithering around these here pages)

They seem very lame and dispirited. Not surprising.

Please send my THANKS to Jeebus. I know that he 'favors' America and its 'brave' leadership.

hmmm. that's odd - when we get bad news from iraq, the leftoid asswipes sneer. "we can't win. winning is an artificial imperialistic western construct.".
when we get *good* news from iraq, the leftoid asswipes sneer. "that hardly matters. we *told you* we can't win. don't you listen?!?". see above for examples.
if i squint real real hard, i DO believe i can make out a trend line here ....

When are you going to start killing us conservatives, Islamoidiot? You shouldn't have warned us, as we now have time to prepare? With all that "non-liberal blood" running in the streets, it's no wonder we are so scared.
I'm still waiting on your liberal buddies to sanction you for threatening violence against a whole group of people. I mean, if a conservative had said something like that, I can just imagine the....outrage....and I mean...outrage..on the liberal side. Hypocrite is the word to describe you, Islamoboy. And coward.

I don't think Islamomooktard wouldn't know which end of a gun is the business end even if it walked over to him and kicked him in the slats.

I am so proud that I can barely contain myself. An Al Qaeda leader has been smoked out and brought to justice! That settles it - the SURGE is WORKING. In another 6 years the COALITION might even take control of Baghdad. I can't wait.

According to libs way of thinking we also need to leave New Orleans and Washington D.C because of the unending violence and the lack of political progress.
Posted by: southdakotaboy | Friday, September 28, 2007 at 07:36 PM
The libs have nothing to fear, the newly elected democrat leaders are getting us out of the middle east by September right? .....errrrr any idea what year they are planning that for? heh

"...any idea what year they are planning that for? heh"
Cindi, I'm figuring somewhere in the 6 year range, right about the time Baghdad is safe enough for BobtheBoob to visit. I'm sure Bobby will want to visit the troops he loves so much, and show them the concern we all have seen from him.

Baghdad is already under more control than your fevered brain, Boob. September's Surge results will be out in a few days. They will show a further decline in casualties. They haven't yet fallen as low as your intelligence but the trend is clear.

How sad, Terry Gain cheerleading for his little war. Its been 4 1/2 years and nothing to show against an enemy consisting of civilians without indoor plumbing. Too bad Terry, you lose. Thank you for your service!
Surge on!

Mr Stamford, the war was over in May of '03; what's going on now is called "occupation". Please. Learn the terms if you're going to talk about it.
"Its been 4 1/2 years and nothing to show against an enemy consisting of civilians without indoor plumbing."
1] Occupation is -- like "containment" -- an open-ended military activity. You know when a battle is over; you can plan for that. When you've had enough battles, you can even plan for a war to be over. Planning to end an occupation, or a containment, is not as easy to define.
2] A large part of the reason these people have "no indoor plumbing" is because they're spending their money on weapons. And if you've paid attention [and I know you haven't, from the sheer naive stupidity of your commentary on the subject] you'd have seen that they are using their weapons largely against themselves. Which means that of six or eight distinct groupings of panislamist hotheads who all hate us and want us out of their territory, they hate each other more and each group wants to be the main group to run us out of their territory by themselves. Plus, they're easier to kill than we are. Why spend your "indoor plumbing" money on explosives if they're only going to dent an armored American truck when you can kill 26 shoppers in a market for the same bang?
Now, if you want to make an argument for disengaging from someone else's civil war, then there's more than enough academic support laying around for doing so. But this sniping from behind rocks and through keyholes is what happens when an individual is so unequal to the task of engaging in intellectual activities that his raw emotional knee-jerks are the only thing he has to work with.
I would advise you to take your emotional fervor and vote with it as often as local ordinance allows you, and be done with it. Doesn't pouting in public embarrass you?

Dear IslamoLlamaChrisBobinStanford, Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for kidnapping and killing Private's Menchaca and Tucker. They were tortured, mutilated and booby trapped. We know that a bomb was between the legs of one of them and one had his head cut off. We also know that in other cases our soldiers have had their penises severed and shoved in their mouths, details the public is spared. It's true, Abu Usama al Tunisi was only one leader. However, we are killing them, one by one, no matter how many there are or how long it takes. If you think that you can do a better job, sign up and go over there and do it yourselves. Otherwise, shut the fuck up. Remember the names Menchaca and Tucker, two better and worthwhile human beings that you pieces of shit will ever be.

Speaking of 'BobInStamford', whatever happened to Bagdad Bob?

Baghdad Bob is now living in Stamford. He posts on blogs but has a very limited vocabulary. Most people who read his posts question his intelligence.
