This really is an amazing vote when you stop to think about it. The Congress overwhelmingly voted its support for General Petraeus when they sent him off to lead the so-called surge. He has done nothing to warrant their abandoning him. But he doesn't contribute to their campaign coffers and Moveon does. Allah calls it a disgrace. It's that and more.
The Democrats, particularly those running competitive races or for President and needing the money, have allowed themselves to be bought and paid for by the extreme Left, which is far from the best of America by any measure. The Democrat Party simply has no shame when it comes to raising money. But then, I guess we knew that given the on going and expanding Hsu nonsense.
These Democrats below are incapable of supporting anyone or anything, including the troops and their General, which doesn't directly support them with funding.
Statement of Purpose: To express the sense of the Senate that General David H. Petraeus, Commanding General, Multi-National Force-Iraq, deserves the full support of the Senate and strongly condemn personal attacks on the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all members of the United States Armed Forces

I respectfully demur with the suggestion that it's all about money. The following are complete moonbat true believers who hate conservative America with a passion. The thought of a Christian conservative bringing progress and liberty to the downtrodden and disenfranchised is driving them mad. Why that's their job. But they aren't up to it. Bush has made them irrelevant and for that they will never forgive him.

Destroying al Qaeda is bad enough reason to hate Bush but the more progress Bush brings to the middle east and the more he does for poor Iraqis the more they will hate him and the crazier they'll get.

This list represents all that is wrong with the Democratic party and with politics today. A sad state of affairs.
