BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition forces killed an al-Qaeda in Iraq military advisor during an operation Aug. 31 west of Tarmiyah.
Coalition forces conducted a precision operation west of Tarmiyah Aug. 31. The assault force followed a vehicle containing two suspected terrorists and attempted to get the driver to stop. When the driver resisted capture, the assault force fired on the vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger were killed in the operation. Coalition forces later identified one of the men as Abu Yaqub al-Masri.

al Masri was the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq. Have boob, chris, gillian et al taken bereavement leave yet?
That tricky traitor Petraeus will do anything to support Bush. No doubt this is more proof that the insurgency is growing. Petraeus is getting so desperate he's knocking off one al Qaeda freedom fighter after another. Pretty soon it won't be safe to go kite flying in Iraq.

I guess our local infestation of Islamists/liberals (hey, scratch a liberal dhimmicrat, you'll find an Islamist or an Islamist apologist/bootlicker nearly every time) must be off whipping themselves bloody with flagella or bashing themselves over the heads with straight razors and scimitars in fits of remorse until rivers of blood cascade down their fat piggy little faces, for losing one of their fearless leaders to the SURGE.
