SC 2 Update
A new report via Michelle on the arrests of two Muslim men in Goose Creek, SC is particularly interesting given a previous story, see second link:
PVC pipe filled with homemade “low-grade explosive mixture” and a videotape instruction for turning a remote-controlled toy car into a detonator were among the items found in the car driven by two University of South Florida students arrested in South Carolina and now facing federal explosives charges, according to a federal prosecutor.
An assistant U.S Attorney outlined the evidence confiscated from the car driven by two suspended USF students — describing a container and three pipes filled with a low grade explosive mixture.
The list also included a videotape that instructs viewers on how to convert a toy electric car into a detonator. Defendant Ahmed Mohamed has admitted making the tape, and in it he says he intended the instruction “to save one who wants to be a martyr for another battle,” said federal prosecutor Jay Hoffer.
There was a remote controlled car confiscated from the home, as well. Also, this particular suspect is the son of an Egyptian official.
(The boy's Father) Samir Megahed said he told the FBI to go in his house "and look around, and if you find something, take it." He said FBI agents seized a $19 remote-control boat Youssef bought at Wal-Mart for his younger brother, Yassien.

New details per the St Petersburg Times, via The Aviation Nation:
-Megahed had two different passports at his house: one with his photograph and name and a second passport with his photograph and a different name.
-On July 29th, one week before being arrested, Megahed and his brother went to Sears and had additional passport-sized photographs taken of themselves.
-Megahed was denied naturalization in March of 2006 because he'd not spent the requisite calendar days in the United States. During a five-year period, from 1998-2003, Megahed spent 1,600 of those days in Egypt (out of a total of 1,825 days).
-Authorities cited Megahed's travels to Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Canada to support their argument that he's a flight risk.
