ABC claims to have the transcript, and he criticizes the Democrats for not stopping the war in Iraq. I thought they said that he wanted us there.
Bin Laden goes on to call Noam Chomsky “among one of the most capable of those from your own side,” and mentions global warming and “the Kyoto accord.”

He seems to be making a stronger than usual call to Islam. Really laying on the hard sell. "Forget about your mortgage, your taxes, etc. Accept Islam. Islam only wants 2.5%. Now isn't that a great deal for you?"

Seriously, though, it all boils down to: We're gonna keep killing you until you throw away your democracy and embrace Islam and sharia.
Same old, same old. And that took 6 pages of blathering?

It's too bad the Moron from Stamford is reading-challenged; otherwise he might have read to the end of the AP article he linked to and discovered what the real issue was....namely, that the AP reporter was pissed that he had been barred from witnessing the press conference in person and forced to wait outside the hall. Poor little reporter.

So that's why the liberals love OBL, he was a closet environmentalist! Who knew? We're soon to see AlGore and Osama on a mission, both with the same goal of depopulating the planet, one using different means, but with the idea in common.

Just imagine how this praise from Osama-dude makes His Neophtye-itude Chomsky feel?
...probably pretty good. With not a touch of social embarrassment whatsoever.
I wouldn't be surprised if ol' Noam-boy typed it up and slipped it into all the Christmas cards he'll mail out this year. Or, since self-loathing Jews don't send xmas cards, or yom kippur cards either, ... maybe his Solstice Celebration cards.
Whatever. It's going on his C.V., that's for sure.

This is from Captain's Quarters:
" According to surveillance details published in Der Spiegel magazine, the men had been given a two-week deadline for their planned strikes in a late August call from northern Pakistan that was monitored by German police.
Congress set a deadline on September 15th as well -- the due date for a progress report on the Iraq War from President Bush."
Two points if I may: (1) We all can see that bin Laden's goals are the same as those of the Democratics. Just note that the terrorists in Germany were caught because of a phone tap. That is why nowingker and the BoobinBridgeport, along with most the rest of the Democratics, want to stop phone taps. Phone taps interfere with their like-minded friend bin Laden's plans. (2) Note that the Democratics, including even their favorite cartoon Opus, are attacking Petraeus every day. This is to try to Make the Bush/Petraeus report look bad as well. The date of the foiled attack had to come before 9/15 to help with this effort.
I am NOT saying there is communication and coordination between al qaeda and the "progressives. It is just that they have many of the same goals, except, of course concerning taxes.
