You kidnap 23 South Koreans, then you die. :::sniffle::: No doubt liberal media is already scouring the scene for civilian causalities.
GHAZNI, Afghanistan (AFP) - Security forces killed a Taliban commander involved in the July kidnapping of 23 South Koreans, officials said Tuesday, as around 40 other rebels were reported killed in fresh fighting. The commander, Mullah Mateen, and 15 other insurgents died in an Afghan and US-led coalition operation that started late Monday in the central province of Ghazni and lasted several hours, they said.

Why, Mr. christamfordmum, they must have a surge going in Afghanistan too. It is working well as you can see. Poor Mullah Mateen. Oh well. Serves him right.

See, this is how you handle terrorists. I'm just glad Bush wasn't in charge of the retaliation attempt. He'd have probably run off and bombed Burma.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy ...
... brought to you in part by George W. Bush, who changed the rules so that this guy, instead of being part of the ruling clique of Afghanistan, had assumed a new title ...
... target.
