Not surprising, really. via HotAir I'm opposed to any ground zero visit, but the press and Columbia can and will do what they choose. I just wish they chose to entertain more conservatives on occasion. If they are so open to different viewpoints, that might be a good place for them to start.
It’s the luncheon part that’s so precious. Listening to him speak is disgusting enough but that at least can be spun as knowing thine enemy. To follow the session with a jolly repast just points up how casually they’re treating it. Watch him show off his just-asking-questions Holocaust dance moves, then knock back a glass of wine and some strip steak. It’s dinner theater. What filth.

What would be his reasons for wanting to visit ground zero?

This evil little dwarf should be kept bottled up at Turtle Bay, and if the little bastard ventures out, he should be hounded and surrounded by the good people of New York. For this little bastard to have access to anything other than the UN would be a shame. Don't let him speak at Columbia, the National Press Club, or anywhere other than the UN. Run his ass out of New York and the US.

I think it would be wonderful if the NYPD just held a press conference to say that they would not be providing Mr. NutJob with any protection. Then stand back and watch the fun begin.

Let Adinnerjacket do his speaking tour (after all, he'd only be preaching to the choir) and drink his champagne and eat his steak... and be sure to get a close-up of him swigging back to Dom...
...and then use it a propaganda vehicle to see just how much of a ood little muzzie he really is.
Oh, and for a last stop, let him off in downtown Dallas - as his secret service retinue goes out for a smoke break.

He want's to demonstrate to the world, including Americans, that they are powerless to prevent a terrorist from visiting their sacred places.
So long as U.N headquarters are located in the United States leaders of state have a right to come here. However he should not be allowed to go anywhere except from the airport to the U.N. building and back.

I think it's strange that they won't let the military on campus because of their position on homosexuals but they'll let Ahm a nut job appear and his government discriminates against homosexuals by killing them. A slight double standard.

Great point, Enforcement, and just another example of liberal hypocrisy.

This might be fun to watch if they let people ask him blunt questions with follow up time if he tries to duck the question. I really don't think this guy has ever really had people standup to him and give him what for right to his face. It would be fun as hell if he throws a tantrum and storms off the stage.

Could we possibly see someone give up their seat for HIRSI ALI? I would love to see him respond to her...

Won't matter what the NYPD does. His security is being provided at the Federal level anyway.
