Hmmmm.

Unless there are specific mission-oriented reasons, there aren't any real provisions in the UCMJ for holding a soldier incommunicado.

But I seriously doubt that Beauchamp will write anything until after he's been discharged because of the trouble he's gotten into and the trouble he's caused others. I'm certain that fellow members of his squad, platoon and company have had discreet words with him about this nonsense and made certain he understood that this type of conduct was unsatisfactory. Plus if he opens his big mouth and starts something *new* then that'll probably make everyone in his company go completely ballistic.

Maybe Jeff Gannon could do a story on Beauchamp.
