He also does not know how to handle his pole (fishing). There are a couple of pictures where he just looks awkward.

"I think Vlad might just be some kind of perv."

Ya think?

And now for the translation from Russian:

"Look at my PECS, you girlie-men. I am the President of Russia, nyet? I will crush you with my flabby abs!!"

I think the Europeans kind of dig on that display of raw macho... supposedly French President Sarkozy was displaying his chest hair and shark-tooth necklace in an attempt to convince fellow Frenchies that he has more than enough testosterone to kick some Islamist butt, if needed.

Speaking of pictures, I have something very special for Mr christamfordmum right here:

ENJOY, as only you can.

f,

I'm afraid Sir Lardass will get a jones for Thomas Dworzak and pay no mind to those pretty Taliban boys.

One good turn deserves another: Here is Lardass playing goalie at a soccer game:

I think that may have been Parker. It was all down here from there. 20 to life is just around the corner.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of it, but I remember reading on one of the Russian blogs that Mr. Putin is a pedophile, and that the reason that he was yanked from his posting and moved to a rather minor ministry position earlier in his career had to do with such an incident.

As I say, there's no way to verify this, so it's all rumor and conjecture at this point.

Heh. Now that would be interesting, if only for that various communist leaders, Lavrentiy Beria especially comes to mind, were pedos.

It's almost as bad as the picture of Calvin Collidge on one of his fishing trips. Remember? It was President Cal who said, " We cannot do everything at once, but we can do something at once." Even if it's done badly, I guess.

And speaking of presidential memories:

Oh, I'll never forget the summer of '09... when I had the misfortune to see then President William Howard Taft, when he went for an excursion in Lake Idonnowadiscalt, and he forgot his corset! Oh, the humanity! It was an explosion of cellulite and stretched swimgear, truly a fashion catastrophe approaching biblical proportions. Many good ladies and their gentlemen-callers fell aghast! Were I not made of steely stuff myself, I too, might have taken to a fainting spell. I can thank the good General Longstreet who did oft chasten us men with clubs and barbed wire to toughen us up, but I digress...

Fortunately, though, I had a supply of Doc Callawader's Miracle Oil, which did soothe the savaged nerves of standers-by who had caught a most unfair glimpse of His Excellency's un-corseted midriff.

-Smedley Alston Horace Dilliwithers III, Major, CSA (retired)

seek, where did you get this jewel?

Smedley A.H. Dilliwithers III is a point of view character of a very crotchety old guy (sometimes appearing as a retired CSA officer, other times as a big trust tycoon ca. 1900) who I used to use on some blogs and forums a while back, generally to poke fun at libs, but also at general examples of human stupidity (such as the pics of Putin "flexing" a pose on his dacha in Russia.

Ted's reference to Calvin Coolidge just made me think of dragging ol' Smedley out of retirement for a few minutes. :P

Concerning presidential pin-up pics... I'm just glad just glad that ours doesn't parade around Crawford trying to show of his pecs. Too bloody embarrassing, if you ask me.
