Hillary's Lost War

Drudge links this bit from with a tease: Hillary on Surge? "It's working." But I think there's a finer point to be put on her actual quote. In between Hillary's last war and her envisioned new war, there happens to be a current war for which Hillary has never offered a strategy, despite having voted for it on more than one occasion.

"It's working. We're just years too late in changing our tactics," she said. "We can't ever let that happen again. We can't be fighting the last war. We have to keep preparing to fight the new war."

If it's now the last war, does that mean she considers this one over, or lost, just as Harry Reid does? And why should we trust someone to fight a next war when they are apparently unprepared to fight the current one, all but ignoring it except when opposing it in a half-hearted manner might offer her some perceived political gain?

The woman has no shame, no shame, at all. And that aspect of Hillary worries me more than anything else.

The war is an utter failure. Every promise, prediction and claim they have made in five years about Iraq has proven false. Why anyone would continue to support and believe them now is beyond any rational person. It is most likely they have such a huge emotional investment it it all that they cannot extricate themselves without embarassment. hilly wants power so much, so badly that she'll say anything; do anything; tell any lie; ruin anyone who gets in her way to get it. any honest look at her life makes this obvious. naturally, the democrats think she's a fine choice to be president. commander-in-chief. the most powerful person in the world.

Had a funny dream last night. Many of the commenters here were in it, but their jobs/professions were revealed to me as I strolled by their places of occupation. Legaleagle was a prison guard, chris was a c--t waxer, yyy delivered cheeseless pizzas, nowingker was a fish scaler, Spartan was a condom salesman, SPIZ was a chancre (pronounced shanker) dresser, markg8 was a used car dealer, LOL swabbed wax from people's ears, Bill Adkins was in show business, cleaning up after the elephants at the circus.
