Financial Times: This Is Embarassing
I guess they count on people not reading all the way to the bottom of articles - and then some. The Financial Times carries a piece by Mr. Irrelevant, James Carville. In the item, Carville points to a Democracy Corp poll and informs us that the Republicans have lost an entire generation of voters because of Karl Rove:
How Karl Rove lost a generation of Republicans
A late July poll for Democracy Corps, a non-profit polling company, shows that a generic Democratic presidential candidate now wins voters under 30 years old by 32 percentage points.
After all the reasons why Rove ruined the future of the Republican Party we get:
On these actions, history has already rendered its judgment on Mr Rove. And, as we say in Louisiana, “it ain’t pretty”.
But the piece comes with a little disclaimer at bottom many might just miss:
The writer is an international political consultant, founder of Democracy Corps, and is working on a new book whose tentative title is The Lost Generation: How the Democrats can Capitalize on the Current Problems of the Republican Party.
Nice of Carville to let us know there's no need to waste money on his silly book, after all, it's a done deal, right?
I hope they charged him for the ad.

Oh, this looks like a good catch. I love these.

If Carville's irrelevant, what does that make you 26%ers and your fearless leader??

Chris,
Um, my Fearless Leader is still President, while Carville is shilling for... Carville, and apparently you. How is that majority in Congress working out for you?

Better than your sad, little war. I hope that your stammering leader enjoys his vacation.

chris ... I hope you enjoy Gen. Petraeus' assessment of this allegedly "sad, little war", next month.
IMO, it will reveal just how sad your intellect ... and how little morality you possess ... again.
Because there are many like me, who will not let you and your ilk spin this the way you did Vietnam.
Keep pushing the moonbat guano ... and you'll be able to google the following and see your future political prospects:
George McGovern 1972
We won't be fooled again ...

eneral Who?? The latest 4-star cheerleader can say what he wants. The party is winding down, patriots. You had your 4 years and couldn't get the brown people in line. Now its time to hang it up.
Mission accomplished!

amazing how halfwits like - well, like ol' chrissie - always tell us that "4 years in iraq is too long!".
and then turn around and squeal that The War On Poverty still needs to be fought because "it's only been 40 years!". or FDR's contemptible expansion of government can't be attacked because it "still needs to evolve: it's only been 70 years".
naaah, no double standard there.
