300 Dead In Bombing?
Amazing. Here is the basic story h/t Rusty. But watch what happens via Google News. Almost immediately Muslim UK News says 200 civilians killed. Reuters and the CBC didn't stop there, they ran it up to maybe 300 civilians killed. And if you read that article, you will see these were just anonymous reports, the Afghan police haven't even investigated them. See second excerpt below.
The U.S.-led coalition would not confirm Azimi's account, but it said it conducted a "precision airstrike against two notorious Taliban commanders conducting a leadership meeting in a remote area of the Baghran district."
"During a sizable meeting of senior Taliban commanders, coalition forces employed precision-guided munitions on their location after ensuring there were no innocent Afghans in the surrounding area," the coalition statement said. The coalition gave few other details and no word of casualties.
Reuters is already suggesting it could be the "worst incident" in years, yet only twenty people are known to be in hospitals and none of the rumors have been confirmed.
In a telephone interview with the Reuters news service, Helmand's police chief, Mohammad Hussein Andiwal, said there were "heavy bombardments" during raids Thursday in the Baghran district.
"We have heard of heavy casualties, too, and have sent a team to investigate this," he said.
Reuters reported that provincial officials and residents were saying between 200 and 300 civilians were killed or wounded following a NATO and U.S.-led precision air strike targeting insurgents.
If the death tolls are confirmed, it could be the worst incident of foreign troops causing civilian casualties since the Taliban government was ousted in 2001, Reuters reported.

Indeed, indeed. Worst incident of media distortion and lies.

Indeed. We must have gotten Taliban leadership. For Reuters, this is incredibly terrible news. Imagine the friendships lost, the leads destroyed and the untold stories which would hurt Western civilization that are simply lost. How will the nihlists recover?
How terribly devastating!

maybe reuters could take a picture of the devastation, to back up their claims? and if that photo isn't - you know - isn't *graphic* enough, maybe they could jazz it up in the darkroom? photoshop in some extra bodies, debris, and thick black smoke? "millions of lefthanded albino midgets killed in bombing! see exclusive photo!"

..."millions of lefthanded albino midgets killed in bombing!"
Crap, bb, you ought to at least make your statement somewhat believable when you make a post like this. What you should have said was, "millions of 'Islamic' lefthanded albino midgets killed in bombing!" Make it a little more believable next time, ok.
