Vitter First Casuality Of DC Madam
Update: What I want to know is, who are they protecting? No 1997? Or am I just missing it below?
She released her records on line. The site is down but apparently Republican Vitter was the first major hit by the Left.

"Republican Vitter was the first major hit by the Left"
The Left didn't hit Vitter; Witter hired a hooker and now wants privacy because he has had a talk with his wife and God. Apparently, God commuted his sin.

I'm a conservative, but we shouldn't be blaming the left for Vitter. He deserved what he got. He was already accused of being with a prostitute back in 2002.

I remember hearing that Vitter didn't run for governor because he wanted to spend more time with his family and that he and his wife were seeing a marriage counselor.

By the way, if the evil liberals were in possession of this damaging info regarding Vitter and the hookers all this time, why would they release it to the media now? Why not wait until 2010 when Vitter is up for re-election? Why not in the October 2008 so as to demoralise the religious right prior to the presidential election. Why not 2004 when Vitter was first up for election to the Senate. Stop spinning Republicans, its time to take responsibility for your own mess. As for you Riehl, you've lost all credibility; you're F----n delusional.

Hate to agree with the hippie lliberaqls here... but they are right.
If Vitter hadn't been whoring around on his wife... he wouldn't be in this mess.
It's not the Left this time, it's simple a matter of keeping one's pants zipped up.

“This is a real outrage. The Hollywood left is redefining the most basic institution in human history, and our two U.S. Senators won’t do anything about it.
We need a U.S. Senator who will stand up for Louisiana values, not Massachusetts’s values. I am the only Senate Candidate to coauthor the Federal Marriage Amendment; the only one fighting for its passage. I am the only candidate proposing changes to the senate rules to stop liberal obstructionists from preventing an up or down vote on issues like this, judges, energy, and on and on.” stated David Vitter.
I am shocked. Shocked I tell you. To hear of this kind of hypocrasy coming out of a Republican who claimed to have such a strong moral standing in the community. But... uh... Dems are worse?

Wow - politicians banging tarts, real shocker that.
This guy's crime is his activity has no entertainment value for the public. At least Wilbur Mills had the decency to drive his car into the tidal basin, and Hart used a boat named "monkey business" -- good stuff for writers there.

"Seriously, whatever happened to the party of accountability and personal responsibility?"
What does this mean? That the other party isn't beholden to accountability and personal responsibility? They're all a bunch of phonies, and no side gets a free pass. Remember Gary Condit? Gary Hart?
It's ridiculous to gloat and point fingers considering JFK and Clinton did the nasty while in the White House, and who knows who else did. I think more republicans will show up on this list because the human nature aspect of all they stand for isn't enough to hold the hounds of lust at bay. Unlike the dems who don't bother pretending they care about family values. That is - actions speak louder than words.
No matter. History has proven that sex trumps everything. Damn hussies, anyway. No winners in this except for those who enjoy another's personal travails, and that says more about the lowlife gloating over this than the poor dope who gave in to his base desires. And hollering "Hypocrite" is a bit of a joke considering probably 90% of those using that over-used word have lusted after a woman not their own. Grow up.

Well patriots, at least this Lord-lover didn't get caught with a guy and some meth. Things are looking up!!

"at least this Lord-lover didn't get caught with a guy and some meth."
Yea, the ACLU won't be interested.

Yes, Phoenix, but Clinton and JFK didn't give eye-rolling holier-than-thou speeches about how America's moral fiber was in the gutter because of people like Clinton and JFK. Gary Condit and Gary Hart didn't ride into office on the "Wifeless sex is destroying our country" platform. It's the hypocrasy. The fact that Vitter was decrying same-sex marriage and infidelity, while playing ass-slap with a shemale in twenty pounds of black leather.
Although, it's once again comforting to see conservatives the nation over turning a blind eye to marital infidelity when its a Republican doing it. What's the old bible verse? "Why do you look at the spec of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" The best part about watching the downfall of the Republican Party is watching them do it to themselves.

The ACLU? You clowns need to come up with new material. How about blaming the activist judges??? hahaha.

Hey, everyone. It's BiS under a new name(s) :
"fredthompsonhatesfetuses"

"jesuslovesgopsenators"
Howzabout GOP Congressmen? Ain't you leaving them out too, HairyBoob?

Hey, so this guy lies a little.
Pays for sex.
Supports "Defense of Marriage" bill as the only way to stop the gays from destroying marriage.
We Reps still have to support him.
After all, we neocons are always for truth, economics and family values.

Islamo Zif.... You read and skip over every other word. Jaysus, go to the school nurse and get checked for dyslexia. If it doesn't help with your reading comprehension, it might at least help with your spelling.
Go REREAD what I wrote. They're ALL phonies. You dems just don't plunk your peckers on the podium. And that makes you sanctimonious asses and sneaks.
Posted by: Phoenix | Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 12:24 PM
Yes, you played an excellent "Democrats did it too!" card. But you didn't address the issue of rhetoric. Clinton didn't get elected on the platform of "Restoring Honor and Integrity to the White House". Kennedy wasn't pushing faith-based initiatives and "marriage protection" amendments. The Democratic platform was social justice and lifestyle freedoms. The Republican platform was ridged moral standards enforced through state and federal law - hence the 'tough on crime', 'Godly Party' image Republicans constructed for themselves. Dems can sleep with all the hookers they want and still get elected because their party platforms don't revolve around what they do under the covers. Republicans can't, because half their party platform involves sticking the government down your pants to keep an eye on you.

Here is how it works : People on the right expect ethical behavior from the leaders on our side and will punish those who fail to live up to those standards or we will forgive them and move on or some combination of the two.
On the other hand the left expect nothing from the people they elect as leaders and so have no problem when they commit bad behavior.
Think about that for awhile. People on the left feel that a lack of ethical behavior on the part of their leaders is ok.
