h/t Instapundit for Bill Roggio live blogging the Red Mosque assault in detail. But I also found this bit he didn't have when I visited:
Hard-line cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi was speaking to a local news channel when forces apparently arrived at his location in the Red Mosque compound in central Islamabad.
"Commandos are at the door of my room," he told Aaj news channel, before the connection was lost. It was not clear whether he was arrested or killed.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- Cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi, the leader at the center of the week-long Red Mosque siege in Islamabad, has been killed, Pakistan's Interior Ministry told CNN.
Abdul Rashid Ghazi, cleric and rebel leader of the Red mosque siege, has been killed.
Ghazi's body was recovered shortly after he was killed in an exchange of fire between Pakistani forces and militants holed up in the mosque, the ministry said.
Earlier reports on Pakistan's state-run television said Ghazi was gunned down by government security forces while conflicting reports said he was shot dead by his own militants within the compound.
Earlier, eight commandos and at least 50 student militants were killed in fierce fighting between security forces and militants holed up in an Islamabad mosque after troops stormed the compound Tuesday morning, military sources said.
