Wait a minute - via The Weekly Standard:
From the Missourian in 2004:
Going for broke MU junior Glenn Rehn plans to back his candidate with every cent in his bank account By ELSPETH REEVE
“Glenn (Rehn) is completely submerged in politics on campus. It is honestly impossible to think about politics at MU without thinking of Glenn,” says Scott Beauchamp, editor-in-chief of Prospectus, a liberal campus news magazine. Beauchamp and Rehn met one year ago while campaigning for Howard Dean.
So Elspeth, now working for TNR - writes a piece quoting her now fiancee on Glenn Rehn, apparently associated with Drinking Liberally.
Beauchamp falls on hard times, enlists - and is next publishing anti-war agitprop from Iraq?
This has to be a screw up, or something. Here is Rehn - must not know how to build a MySpace Page. Rehn hearts Glenn Greenwald and has Scott Beauchamp as his only heroe? LOL Okay, slow down, I'm missing something, or this is a spoof? Need to look at this one further.
About me:
I was previously a constitutional law and civil rights litigator in New York. I am the author of the New York Times Bestselling book "How Would a Patriot Act?," a critique of the Bush administration's use of executive power, released in May 2006. My second book, "Tragic Legacy," examines the Bush legacy and will be released by Random House/Crown, and will be released on June 26, 2007.
What ... are .. the ... chances??

As I read the article, the "Glenn" referred to therein is identified as age 21, which would make him only 24 today. Greenwald must be at least in his mid 30s.
Or are you just spoofing about this???

I'm just citing the page - that's why I said he must be spoofing, or screwed it up.

"I am Private Scott Thomas Beauchamp, a member of Alpha Company, 1/18 Infantry, Second Brigade Combat Team, First Infantry Division." Sounds pretty military to me. Calling this soldier a liar? Is that how you support the troops? http://www.tnr.com/blog/the_plank?pid=128957
"It's been maddening, to say the least, to see the plausibility of events that I witnessed questioned by people who have never served in Iraq." And that would include one hell of a lot of fat assed chickenhawks.

"It's been maddening, to say the least, to see the plausibility of events that I witnessed questioned by people who have never served in Iraq."
FYI And that would include one hell of a lot of people that actually served in iraq, and that is a fact as opposed to your uninformed speculation
(don't know why i bother)

I'd say the myspace page is a clumsy spoof, if anything. In it he claims to be a 7'11" 48 year-old swinging bisexual Wiccan bodybuilder.
There seems to be just a little too much improbability of a confluence of wierdness in all of those attributes put together into one person.
That, and having Glenn "SockPuppet" Greenawald as a personal hero.

The Glen Rehn page is the same URL that is linked from Beauchamp's MySpace page, and the trail leads back there from various comments Rehn has made at that page and elsewhere. That argues very strongly that the page is, in fact, that of Glen Rehn. If it weren't cached I don't think you'd get a look at it, either. The comments by Scott Thomas (on the Glen Rehn page) should cinch that deal.
The goofy information no doubt speaks to the cleverness of the proprietor.
I was actually posting to note that Reeve paraphrased Rehn as saying he would empty his bank account for Howard Dean.
The FEC records do not show any contributions from Rehn, AFAICT.
His bank account must have had a bad year.

"Dan Bejar is a great artist" is Glen Rehn.
"mouse" is Elspeth R (I think "a real spicy braudra" may also be Elspeth).
