Murtha probably can't be charged with anything, but if Congress had any integrity, they'd censure him. And he should be sued for libel.
An investigating officer has recommended dismissing murder charges against a U.S. Marine accused in the slayings of three Iraqi men in a squad action that killed 24 civilians in the town of Haditha, according to a report.

The civilian-controlled US military in these two campaigns, Iraq and Afghanistan, have taken more precautions against harming civilians than any country ever has in the history of humankind. That is why it is so utterly sickening to hear these Libs whining without letup about the "innocent" civilians. Of course no effort, up to and including further endangering our troops, would ever satisfy them. Their elected representatives are of the party who ordered our Army Air Corps to bomb cities, and bomb them with nuclear weapons, without mercy, and FDR and Truman were right to do so because they wanted us to win the war with the least US casualties possible. Murtha. Murtha. Murtha. Beelzebub. Beelzebub Beelzebub. Looks like there may be some vindication for the Corps after all, and that's a good thing.
