Not Mary Matalin?

I'm looking at all the potential candidates for now and don't want to play favorites, just trying to call things as I see 'em, honest.

But this??

Republican consultant Mary Matalin, who is advising Thompson

She's always struck me as sort of the Bob Shrum of the Right, both know how to lose.

Allah responded to my post on Fred's Powerline piece about the same way I did, doesn't bother me as much as it may bother some. But, Allah points out another issue, too. I think bloggers are getting tired of Fred almost declaring he's going to declare and the honeymoon is fast coming to an end.

Where is the entry on the fabulous successes in Iraq?

Why, the Iraqi government has made PROGRESS on 8 goals, 'progress' mind you, they haven't achieved any of the goals we set for them.

The CIA says the Iraqi government is ineffective and that violence is irreversible.

Al Quaeda is stronger now than at any time since 9/11, they've spent the last 4 years regrouping, right under Bush's nose.

And all of this is costing us a mere 12$ billion a month.

As Bob says, surge on brave patriots.

With this kind of 'progress' I anticipate a complete victory within a scant 30 years.

What America needs is the 'Urban Legend' - Rudy Giuliani to protect it and win the war in Iraq. He has several exwives (and cousins) to help him. If I was a terrurist, I'd be afeared!!!
