MSNBC Headline News?

"it said that a personal assistant handled paying for the haircuts and that Edwards didn't realize how much they cost."

A recent MSNBC headline:

Giuliani off on price of milk, bread
Campaign points out candidate came close to national averages

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani hasn't done a lot of grocery shopping lately - at least based on his answers about the cost of milk and bread.

And remember when Bush 41 was running against Clinton and he was castigated by the media for alleging not knowing the price of milk, or some such item? That turned out to be bogus, I believe, it was about a new hi tech scanner, more than anything else. So check this out regarding Edwards and four years of haircuts at up to $1,200 a pop.

Asked for a comment, the Edwards campaign said this week that Edwards had arranged for the stylist to give him numerous cuts over the past four years. But it said that a personal assistant handled paying for the haircuts and that Edwards didn't realize how much they cost.

He sounds like just the guy to be spending the tax money. But when you think about the others.... well, just try not to.
