It's Attention That They Crave
So, Mike Stark isn't content with embarrassing himself on CNN's Reliable Sources. He has to take it to the next level by annoying several of Bill O'Reilly's neighbors. But what is it he has achieved besides further marginalizing DailyKos among those not of the extreme and loony Left and apparently generating some much needed attention for himself? Nothing, nothing at all.
He doesn't have a noble cause out in front of him, something in which he believes in so much he goes to extremes to bring attention to it, other than perhaps his distaste for Bill O'Reilly this time out. But as with the Allen fiasco, we know Stark doesn't like anyone on the Right. So, who cares outside of his little echo chamber? So, Stark gets some small amount attention from the liberal blogs for himself - and O'Reilly still has his far larger pulpit which he'll now use to make Stark and DailyKos look even more foolish than they already do.
O'Reilly's neighbors don't care about some silly signs Stark evidently hung about, except perhaps that they'd be double sure to set their burglar alarms when leaving because there was a lunatic roaming around the neighborhood. Yawn!
It's similar to what Ace points out about Ken Layne at Wonkett - attention getting nonsense that ultimately serves no good purpose. The Left is becoming increasingly adept at the politics of marginalization. And ultimately, that's a good thing for the Right. Just turn them loose and let them be themselves. That as much as anything else is the surest way to keep America well-grounded on the Center-Right. Most Americans instinctively recoil from the far-Left when it's unintentionally exposed, or intentionally shows what it's really made of.
God Bless their crazy little hearts.

Hey, all the DailyKos is bashinkg this dude:

Stark is a really sick cookie.
Given enough time, he'll self-destruct.

You've got to be kidding me. Stark gives O'Reilly some of his own medicine and you have a problem with that?

Who has O'Reilly been stalking? Please be specific.

PA, don't challenge a Lefty to produce any facts. You confuse them.

You mean besides Andrea Mackris? Or does she not count because he paid her? O'Reilly is always threatening people, talking about "Accountability moments" and "Fox Security knocking at their door" as if he has his own personal Brown Shirts to send to your house.

See, he got confused, just like I said he would. But he said Brown Shirts, just had to throw in that Hitler reference, and is now a hero to a nutroot somewhere. He just got "the Man".

No need to address the point made, just attack a reference within it...

"No need to address the point made, just attack a reference within it..." Not a "reference", you former SS man, a smear.

I wonder what testimony about Bill's love of loofahs and objects in his butt do for housing prices on that block? Must be great to live next door to a real patriot like him.

How about that SURGE, chris? Even an op-ed in the NYT recently said the Iraq War may be winnable. I bet that cuts old chris. AMEN!

Winnable??? You flag-wavers couldn't win a stuffed animal at a carnival. 1 month until the Iraq Fiasco starts to wind down.
