Ouch! About time they said it, too. Hillary's people responded saying it was "outrageous and dangerous" - Hillary herself then threw three campaign aides off a private flight while in mid-air.
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon told Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton that her questions about how the U.S. plans to eventually withdraw from Iraq boosts enemy propaganda.
In a stinging rebuke to a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Undersecretary of Defense Eric Edelman responded to questions Clinton raised in May in which she urged the Pentagon to start planning now for the withdrawal of American forces.
A copy of Edelman's response, dated July 16, was obtained Thursday by The Associated Press.
"Premature and public discussion of the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq reinforces enemy propaganda that the United States will abandon its allies in Iraq, much as we are perceived to have done in Vietnam, Lebanon and Somalia," Edelman wrote.

No, it's more like the undersecretary of Defense is Baghdad Bob. They'll say anything, do anything, twist the truth - the truth of the matter is Republicans, this Administration and George W. Bush cannot be trusted.

Hmmmm, you mean kind of like publicly announcing the timetable and number of troops you were sending in for the surge? Or announcing the date when the report on how successful the surge was due?
Outragious and dangerous like that?

You idiots actually don't understand the difference between wrong war/wrong time and really fighting Al Qaeda instead of Bush's Blunder in Iraq that costs so much and benefits so little - that explains a lot - including why Al Qaeda is as dangerous today as it was pre-9/11.

Bill Adkins ... either you don't understand that our enemies in this war are not limited to AQ ... and that if we are to stop MidEast terrorism, all its sources have to be dried up, including Iraq ...
... or you don't care to understand, for the war you are fighting started in Novemember 2000.
Any blunders on the part of this Administration pale in comparison to the ultimate blunder of my generation ... the 40 years of INACTION in the face of multiple totalitarian threats to our civilization, stridently and succesfully promoted by critics like you who are mired in the conventional wisdom of the 20th century.
This is YOUR mess.
George W. Bush is driving the street sweeper to clean it up ... so please park to the right, as the bulk of the trash is "lying" on the "left" side of the street ...

Willy, yeswanker, mugs, cimac, yyy, and many, not all, of the others always delivering the same daily crap, probably all the same agent. No imagination, no creativity, no objectivity. The screen names change but the obviously clear case of zealot brain hate Bush syndrome remains unchanged.

For so long as you equate criticism of Bush's obviously failed policies with 'hate Bush syndrome,' Freddie, you'll be unable to think clearly. You're obviously a latent homosexual with a Bush obsession complete with bedroom fantasies.

ha ha. Nothing like having your words come true, eh, Fred? You describe them and immediately get the perfect example of the idjuts inability to engage in original thought.

al Qaeda is taking a shit kicking in Iraq. They have lost soldiers, leaders and suicide bombing volunteers. They tried to drive America out of Iraq by mass killing of innocents. And what have they gained in return? Nothing, except the support of the Democratic Party and MSM.
In the middle east, because of their tactics their reputation is in the toilet. Iraq has become a quagmire for al Qaeda. Their only hope is for the treasonous Democrats to convince a left leaning public that the war is lost.

If We're Fighting Them Over There To Keep From Fighting Them Over Here, Why Are We Fighting Them Over Here Anyway? Fighting Breaks Out in New Jersey as missiles are being aimed at airliners. Bush's Blunder in Iraq permits Al Qaeda to re-constitute and become as strong as it ever was, and now we're dodging missiles in New Jersey? Bush fighting the War on Terror is about as competent as the Keystone Kops fighting the Cosa Nostra.
