Damn, Jules at Pajamas Media and Don Surber here are harshin on Pelosi because she's doing a memoir.
I agree with some comments I've seen that it might be a bit premature, but if you don't think that DC politics isn't the last of the Old Boy networks and breaking through that to become the first female Speaker of the House isn't something, we'll have to disagree.
I'll mock and knock Pelosi with the best of them on the merits and disagree with her politics intensely, but credit where credit is due. And don't make the mistake of underestimating her, though I agree, she hasn't done very well so far and may not hold the spot for too long.
That said, if the Republicans continue to blow it and the Dems hold the majority in the House for sometime to come, she could yet become an historical figure, assuming we don't elect a woman to the White House in 2008.


What's she going to call it, "Bashar and Me?"
