Sources close to the John Edwards campaign confirm that with his fund raising efforts in the tank, the candidate has instructed wife Elizabeth to prepare for the worst. The candidate is said to be encouraging his seven year old son, Jack to attend a quail hunting trip with Vice President Cheney in a desperate attempt to revive his failing campaign.
Seriously, it's pretty sad the way this mope is trying to trade on every tragedy in his life to raise money. Would someone please tell this less than a footnote to history and his wife to sit down and shut up. America isn't buying it, John ... neither America, in your case. If you think he isn't hapless, remember, he was subordinate to John Kerry on the last Dem ticket. That makes him like loser junior, or something, doesn't it?
See Newsbusters and Hot Air for the details. If this clown were elected, they'd need to have the entire family whacked in his first and only term just to keep his approval ratings up.

Hmm, the end of the Silky Pony? That leaves Obamabananarama and Hitlary for the Dems.
Fun choices, indeed.

Keep your fingers crossed. We'll see McCain/Lieberman Unity '08 and then you'll actually have something worth cringing over.

Oh, btw, it's to see Ann Coulter picking on a woman with cancer. Keep up the good work and keep Eddie in the spotlight. I swear, AC is perhaps one of the greatest fundraising tools in the Democratic toolchest - right next to Joe Lieberman and the Prez.
Seriously, it would make more sense if the Republicans just started donating money at Edwards themselves. I mean, $1.6 million in contributions just yesterday? The MitWit is going to have to dig deep into his coat pockets to keep up with that.

I wonder if Bush got any additional votes because his wife killed and innocent man?

Edwards should save himself a lot of hassle and drop out.
As for Coulter's recent comment, Coulter appears to have Tourette's of the mouth. She's becoming tiresome and stupid.

Methinks it is all about the coming tyranny of control by the elitist cronies who worship the Great Spotted Boogey-Owl at the Bohemian Grove.
What we really need is to clean out both House and Senate, put an eternal bar on anyone with a (D) or an (R) after thier names from running for any office, whether it be congresscritter, president, or town dogcatcher... along with anyone who has served in Congress or by appointment of Bush or Clinton.
We need to start afresh with new parties, or better yet, none at all.

oh, so we're dredging up history now?? cool!!
when do we start in on liberal democrat ted kennedy murdering ol' mary jo? leaving her there to drown while he went & got his story straight? "wait here, MJ! i'll be right back!"
or sainted liberal patriarch joe kennedy lobotomizing *his own frickin' DAUGHTER*??? "it'll just leave a tiny little scar on your forehead, kathleen! you'll be so much more mellow!"
why'd you liberals neglect to mention **those** world-famous incidents?? they're "funny because they're true", aren't they?

Republicans and Democrats are the squabbling in-laws of incestuous American politics. When will anyone realize there's no difference between the two of them? They are both motivated by greed and self-glory, and will only accede to the wishes [or demands] of We The People if they can serve their greed and self-glory at the same time. ...and usually first.
