I see feminists Jill and Amanda have dropped by the comments area on this post. Just to clear up a few items ... I was not suggesting the murder of Jessie Davis wasn't a crime when I wrote:
"Unfortunately, if this is what constitutes crime in the heartland of America, that heart is very sick and we can only expect more of the same."
See, this is what cracks me up about Jill. From her comments, clearly she thinks she is incredibly intelligent. No doubt she's well-educated, but she's so blinded by bias, the ability to read and comprehend material objectively isn't there. "Crime in the heartland" is obviously the operative phrase. No one would even dream of thinking that murder isn't a crime. But making that conclusion suits Jill's political agenda, so she jumps right for it. She does the same thing by falsely stating I said the crime was Jessie's fault. I did not. That is far from the same thing as suggesting someone has some responsibility for what befalls them as a result of their lifestyle choices.
Intelligent and dense, or prejudiced is stoopid ... no matter what you scored on the LSATs, Jill and Amanda.
As for the remaining issue Jill raised ...
We're working on getting it back up so that your readers can decide for themselves whether they'd do it to me.
You're kidding, right? Geesh, Jill ... I'm single and in my forties. You had me at twenty-something, Hon! LMAO
And imo some of you folks really need to lighten up. It's as if one can't make any remark without being accused of maligning an entire race, or gender, or whatever. I will never give in to that kind of nonsense. I enjoy being bombastic ... it's part of the fun. If I wanted to write dry news commentary all day, I would have went to work in the MSM.

Dan, being an asshole is neither creative nor something to be proud of. It's sad you're in your 40s and never learned that.

Oh, for crying out loud, let them bicker. It's entertaining.

Brad is a little peevish today, Dan, because someone called him an idiot on another post. Pay absolutely no attention to him until he calms down. As for lol, never pay attention under any circumstances. lol is a real load at the Riehl World, and any where else for that matter.

http://pajamasmedia.com/2007/06/iranian_regimes_heavyweight_gu.php#comments Scroll down the comments to Brad, then down to Jen. Short but sweet. No wonder he is cranky.

"That is far from the same thing as suggesting someone has some responsibility for what befalls them as a result of their lifestyle choices."
Exactly. Stick to your guns, Dan. Too many people think the consequences of their relatively informed choices aren't their responsibility. Oh, well. Live and learn the hard way, or in this case of the sad young woman, tragically not...

Short but sweet is right. Phwap.

Wrong brad, Fred. There's more than one of us in the world.

Yeah, there's a good brad and a bad brad. The bad one is liberal, haha!

There are, Brad? Well, just possibly, that's what last names are for.

I appreciate that Dan used the term "Gals". I don't think I've seen that word in print since the 70s.

We like old words here.
Here's one from around 1906: Bully.

Hahaha, I like that word in this connotation, seek. Bully for you! And bully for the majority in the United States Senate who voted down the shamesty.
Here's another one: Hoorah!
