Conversation

Hillary said she wanted to have a conversation with America, I think she just didn't want it to be overheard. LOL Consider the source(s).

Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okl, claims he overheard Sens. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, and Barbara Boxer, D-Calf, chatting about how out of control talk radio had become.

"Senator Boxer told me that either her friend Senator Inhofe needs new glasses or he needs to have his hearing checked, because that conversation never happened," says Natalie Ravitz, the communications director for Boxer.

And so the Dems plan their march to creating a Facist Totalitarian State. The Dems will never willingly let go of power again, they will do anything to destroy all opposition.

Well, "Natalie"....can you tell our Friend Barbara Boxer, you know the one that can't speak for herself...

..tell her we noticed that Barbara Boxer has voted for every single bill in the U.S. Senate that would protect Redwood Trees, Spotted Owls and Alaskan Frontier but that she has at the same time voted for every bill that would ensure that unborn children would have their skulls crushed, their brains sucked out and then killed.

So, "Natalie", tell Barbara, we are ready to sell our trademarked Boxer Campaign Slogan to her:

"Save the Trees, Kill The Children"

As the cops say -- ignore what they're saying and watch their hands. What their hands have been doing suggests the story is true.

Hey, while we're having all these neat conversations, let's talk about John McLobbyist.

"John McCain, who made his name attacking special interests, has more lobbyists working on his staff or as advisers than any of his competitors, Republican or Democrat.

A Huffington Post examination of the campaigns of the top three presidential candidates in each party shows that lobbyists are playing key roles in both Democratic and Republican bids --although they are far more prevalent on the GOP side. But, all the campaigns pale in comparison to McCain's, whose rhetoric stands in sharp contrast to his conduct.

"Too often the special interest lobbyists with the fattest wallets and best access carry the day when issues of public policy are being decided," McCain asserts on his web site, declaring that he "has fought the 'revolving door' by which lawmakers and other influential officials leave their posts and become lobbyists for the special interests they have aided."

In actual practice, at least two of McCain's top advisers fit precisely the class of former elected officials he criticizes so sharply. On March 7, 2007, McCain named ex-Texas Representative Tom Loeffler, who has one of the most lucrative and influential practices in the nation's capital, as his campaign co-chair. In the same month, McCain named former Washington Sen. Slade Gorton, now a heavyweight lobbyist, as his honorary chairman for Washington state."

Now, to be fair, Hillary has been dragging in the campaign money hand over fist. In fact, I don't think she has enough hands to drag it all in. But when Obamarama takes the Dem Primary, I won't be crying myself to sleep over Senator Clinton's ethical infidelity. Still, it would be nice if any of the top three GOP candidates didn't blatantly contract themselves in such an embarassing way.

shroom, ya had me for a bit there until you predicted Obama taking the DEM primary. Ain't gonna happen, although it would be the best thing to ever happen to this lackluster crew of Republicans we have running.

Fred Thomson is lackluster???? Never mind that he is half-dead and is married to a floozy. He looks very PRESIDENTIAL when he puts on his pouting campaign face. Looks like a Hero to me!!

*yawn*

BiS *tried* to make an original comment, but somehow comes up lacking.

Not for nothing, but if Fred has married an attractive young woman, then bully for him. Not that it has anything much to do with how well he will be able to turn this country around compared with any of the other relatively useless idiots on *either* side of the aisle running for POTUS.

"let's talk about John McLobbyist"

Let's not and just say we did. The guy makes me ill.

"...is married to a floozy."

Key word here being married. HairyBob is just jealous cause he can't marry his gay lover, and any woman to him would be a floozy, I suppose. Surge on, Bobby!

"Ain't gonna happen, although it would be the best thing to ever happen to this lackluster crew of Republicans we have running."

Yes, I'm sure the Gerriatric Old Party is simply peeing itself in anticipation of taking on a young, bright, charismatic, minority Presidential Candidate. Who's going to take Obama down? Multi-choice Mitt? America's Slacker Guiliani? Fred "Law & Order" Thompson?

You guys will almost inevitably run the Mormon for President, and get completely trounced come November. With Mitt's Religious Right credientials and massive pocketbook, that's all but decided. The only question left is whether we get to see McCain/Lieberman '08 on the "Everyone's Least Favorite Politicians" ticket, and exactly how big Obama's coat-tails will be.

"Who's going to take Obama down?"

Obama.

Is it just me, or does IslamoLlama remind you of someone? Zifnab, perhaps. Ziffy has come back as a Muslim. Wow, amigo!

That's very Zen, Purple.

Inhofe lives in a fantasy world about many things, why should we assume this is any different.
