Air America is said to be re-launching next week in preparation for 2008 and along with hiring a blogger/ activist from MyDD and the Warner campaign, Nancy Scola, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was scheduled to record an interview today for airing next week.
Democratic candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards, along with luminaries like Robert Redford, Paul Newman and Gloria Steinem, are among the more than 30 guests scheduled, the network announced Thursday.
New shows are also being added to the schedule, featuring famous correspondents and hosts, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Arianna Huffington and Bob Kerrey. The network also redesigned its Web site, where hosts will regularly blog along with a newly-hired blogger, Nancy Scola.
What an incredible reach - take that however you choose to interpret it:
In a statement, Green said the headliners kicking off the relaunch will deliver "the kind of news and views we'll be offering for years to come and that no other radio or TV network now provides."
Air America is broadcast on 64 stations nationwide and on XM satellite.

"...new shows are being added to the schedule, featuring famous correspondents and hosts...."
Hmm....I'm thinking infamous correspondents and hosts, but whatever, I demand equal time!

Oh, I'm sure no one on the liberal side would allow any conservative near a mic if they could prevent it. Including me. But, since you missed the entire point, let me spell it out for you. My demand for equal time was not serious, and was meant to spoof the latest liberal call to silence conservatives by going back to the "equal time" period of American history.
You're stupid, Ziffy, you know it? And my blogging is hardly dependant on your approval, thank God. And your opinion means nothing to me. Did I clear it all up for you, Zif?

Hey Air America, that overwhelming silence you hear is the sound of nobody giving a shit.

Yawn. Not one of those named is interesting. Huffington was boring when she was a Republican, now she's even more so.

"Huffington was boring when she was a Republican,..."
Maybe this says it ALL. "I was on Rush's show before I was on this one." "Oh. Your brain is empty?"
