AQI leader al-Masri has reportedly been killed, by Iraqi Sunni tribesman.
Charles Warren says: "Who is al-Masri? What is AQI?"

Such a dizzyng list of VICTORIES!!! It warms my heart to hear about all of these SUCCESSES in Iraq. After all, it's only been 4 years. By 2020, GW Bush will have those goatherders in line.
Clearly, the SURGE is WORKING!

The Boob believes, like his neophytes here, that wars should last three weeks, four days and six hours. After that the troops, volunteers or draftees, must come home in defeat.

After 4 years, I think we are finally learning that their god IS God.
Posted by: ashfile | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:06 AM
Yeah, ash. But I forgot. Could you remind me about some of the victorious battles the enemy won over there. I can't seem to recall even one. That's odd because quite a few Lefties say we are losing the war. But how can we lose a war when we haven't lost any battles?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:13 AM
Fred is in denial. How many battles have you won?? What a clown...
Posted by: Kelvin | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:18 AM
Since the truce in Korea, some scuffles have happened along the North/South border, but we haven't lost any battles. The war is still on and we've been there for over fifty years. Mommy, why aren't the Lefties screaming bring the troops home? A mystery for the ages.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:20 AM
Oh, wanker, you fell for that one. What battle have we won? We won the battle to depose Saddam, you silly.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:22 AM
Saddam, Saddam, where are you my darling? I don't see him do you zero?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:25 AM
Nope, no Saddam. But I do see a great big civil war! You must be very proud.
Posted by: Kelvin | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:26 AM
Saddam, Saddam, get your one-handed, shootin' rifle. The Amis are here. Where is that boy?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:26 AM
Saddam, zero says there's a civil war. All I see is some savages killing civilians with bombs. I don't see this civil war.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:28 AM
Saddam, it's just like Israel. Palestinians are killing civilians with bombs. That's no civil war.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:29 AM
Haha, you lose, old man. Your leader is a disgrace and your war is a failure and a money pit. Maybe Fred Thompson can lead you to victory. Hahahaha!!!
Posted by: Kelvin | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:34 AM
Civil war? Al Sadr's people and Saddaam holdouts/terrorists killing each other is a civil war? NIce try, but no.
Just because you lefties want it to be reality doesn't mean it is. Then again, fats never enter into your fantasy worlds.

Saddam, zero folded jes' like y'all did, Saddam, you no-account. Seems like savages jes' wanna kill folks so they can git ta heaven. Some god they got.

Saddam? You mean the 'imminent threat'. Find any WMDs? Didn't think so. Back to sleep for you sheep!
Posted by: Kelvin | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:42 AM
Like your mentally ill opinion carries any weight Kelvin/LBiS. BTW, calling W a disgrace is hypocritical on your part.
Posted by: Hard Right | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:42 AM
Um yeah, it's not Clinton's fault 9/11 happened. (roll eyes). Yup, we were the ones sleeping for 8 years. You really need to take your zyprexa LBiS.
Posted by: Hard Right | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:44 AM
Funny, zero, almost every one of the Dem candidates now wanting the nomination used that very phrase to describe Saddam, "imminent threat". So did once President Clinton, if I recall correctly, not quite sure about that. I don't believe Bush ever did though.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:47 AM
I got this mental image of zero frantically searching google for a refutation. It must be tough for him. Research isn't his strong suit.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:54 AM
The Dems were also saying Saddam had WMDs. Guess they lied. Impeach them!
Posted by: Hard Right | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:56 AM
"I got this mental image of zero frantically searching google for a refutation."
Naw. He's wacking it to gay "bear" porn.
Posted by: Hard Right | Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at 10:57 AM
In fairness, HR, it isn't mine either. Zero (aka Boob) is best at drive-by one-liners. He is kind of the Henny Youngman of commentors.

"He's wacking it to gay "bear" porn."
Hard Right, the closeted Log Cabin Republican. A true hero, just like Drudge.

"You mean the 'imminent threat'". Kelvin
"Bush never called Saddam an imminent threat. In fact, in his 2003 State of the Union address, Bush said: "Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike?" This isn't the first appearance of the "imminent threat" canard in the Times, and it apparently won't be the last...
Kelvin is a liar.
