Biden (guffaw) and Dodd (ZZzzzz) are running for President in case you didn't know. Harry Land Shark Reid reminds us in a statement regarding how the losers who won't fight our enemies are fighting amongst themselves. Liberal Democrats only ever fight for one thing, their own power. Nothing else, not even the welfare or reputation of America, means anything to them.
As former Sen. John Edwards’s (D-N.C.) TV ad on the Iraq supplemental continues to cause friction in the Democratic presidential field, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) heaped praise Thursday upon “the presidentials” in his caucus for keeping their rivalry out of caucus business.
“They’ve caused me no concern, caused the caucus no concern,” Reid told reporters, referring to his four “presidentials” — Democratic Sens. Joseph Biden (Del.), Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), Chris Dodd (Conn.) and Barack Obama (Ill.).

hahaha. Man, you'll just throw up any old post to bitch and moan won't you?
Perhaps you should save your energy for cheering on Tancredo, Hunter, and Thompson.

Thompson? The guy is half dead and his wife looks like a stripper.

The Dems are so sure that they are going to win in 2008 that they feel safe turning on each other. This is going to be a messy backstabing blood fest(think ultimate deathmatch that used to be on mtv). Darth Karl had this planned from the begining. Let the Dems win controle in 06 at then watch them eat themselves. In 08 the Dems will be shoved out into the wilderness for along time. Let the feading frenzy begin!!

Oh Danny,
Who are our "enemies"? It certainly wan't the Iraqis before we started our blitzkrieg there. Or do you still believe that Sadaam and Bin Laden were conspiring. The truth is, old boy, that while we waste our time and resources combatting an unidentifiablwe enemy in Iraq, our true enmy Al Qaeda grows stronger with our assistance.
In truth it's not that "liberals" are afraid to fight, it's that we prefer to go about it in an intelligent manner, something this administration has failed to do from day one.Instead Boy George lies, obfuscates and keeps the casket makers in business.
Sig Heil!

You really are your own best spoof.

you need to work on that lib misogyny, Kel. At this rate, the feminazis won't let you hide behind their skirts if I ever decide to smack you around.

Dan,
Honestly, some of your lines, though comic, make me think that you don't parctice self abuse often enough. Or m,aybe it's that your mother was right and too much of it did make you mentally ill

Shorter Dan Riehl:
Brash Statement, unsupported attack on someone's honor, ad hominem, ad hominem, BLOCK QUOTE, ad hominem, sign off.
Pitiful. You're exactly like the last Congress: long on attacks, short on productivity. That line about Democrats being only interested in power is a real chortler though; I mean what with the Bush Administration asserting the Uber-Executive, manipulating anything they can to assure elections (remember McCain's black baby anyone?), and subverting the democratic process.
In fact, that one about the nation's reputation is pretty hilarious too! Who is this mysterious foreign nation from which Republicans have developed a need for respect? Nazi Germany fell decades ago, Pinochet is dead as a door nail . . . what is the respect you speak of? You use this word, this "respect," but I don't think it means what you think it means!
And the nation's welfare? That's well-served by a war without end, an income distribution reminiscent of the Gilded Age, and making grandma pay more for her Rxs. Yeah, that's Republican Welfare for you: the rich get richer, the poor go to war or curl up and die quietly.
Well, it's been fun being one of the dozen or so people who read this pitiful blog. If you try Riehl Hard you might be up to Atlas-Shrugs Pam numbers, but only if you do a bikini-podcast.

productivity? that's a joke right?
what exactly the fuck have the dems accomplished in the last 4 months?
you should be able to right off the top of your head write a long list eh?
Posted by: charles | Thursday, May 03, 2007 at 04:43 PM
Hey Kelvin the Dems let the extreme left take over and elected Jimmy Carter then they lost the next three Presidential elections. It also set the stage for the conservative movement to wrest control of Congress from the Democrats. That happened when the country had very few alternative news media. Now that we have the internet, Fox news and talk radio the Dems can't keep a tight control on the flow of information.
Before you get to sure of your self remember that the polling average places Congress at the same level as Bush (mid 30s). The Dems have no margine of error with the American people. One or two scandals and some good news out of Iraq (or at least just more of the same) and the Dems won't stay in power to long.

hmmmm....let's see...."accomplishments of the democrat congress in 4 months"....
ok! got 'em!
1) complete success in sweeping feinstein's appalling corruption under the rug; aided by (of course) gutless republicans
2) ringing defense of partial-birth abortion
3) treasonous statements by senate majority leader broadcast around the world
4) laughable power-trippin' by speaker of the house; sucking up to muslim barbarians ("don't i look modest and chaste in my $3000 hermes head scarf?")
5) ummm.....running out of accomplishments here....

And the cons have who?
An Elmer Fudd soundalike who married his cousin, a Cult member, an old man who spent way too much time in a N Vietnamese prison, a few kooks who are afraid of brown people and a 2nd rate actor with an incurable disease and a wife who looks like a 3rd rate stripper.
Hillary is starting to look like a winner, huh?
Posted by: Kelvin | Thursday, May 03, 2007 at 05:39 PM
Hey, Rudy's marriage to his cousin was anulled, so it like never happened O.K.

Apparently Kelvin has the hots for Biden or Dodd, or both. Very gay of you, Kel. Your letting your emotions influence your vote. Tsk...tsk...

and the dems have who? hillary is the best and brightest?
the dems are scraping the barrel this go round
Posted by: charles | Thursday, May 03, 2007 at 09:04 PM
Edwards is thinking like a smart trial lawyer. No getting past that. He's plucking off 'witnesses' one by one hoping the jury will let him win. It's brilliant. There is no getting past the fact that the gaggle of 'presidentials' will have to eat their own and hope one is left standing. Edwards just started the barbecue.
Posted by: Phoenix | Thursday, May 03, 2007 at 11:11 PM
i dunno, phoenix. edwards may or may not be smart; but i think he's just a dead man walkin'. if he gets the nod, all the gop has to do is play that "edwards primps his hair for 5 frickin' minutes" video again and again and again. (if you've never seen it, go to youtube, and look for "john edwards - i feel pretty"). after that, it won't matter *what* the guy does or says. who you gonna believe? the scumbag lawyer, or your own eyes?
the same goes for hillary. LOTTA video on that harpy...but the most damaging may be when she walked onto the stage of the WTC gig back in 2001, and was booed off the stage. just show that video again & again, and then ask, "why'd the crowd do that? hmm?"
sure, the networks won't show 'em, but screw THOSE guys. we've got that newfangled internet thing. they can have their (massively dwindling) tv/print media audience.
Posted by: bloodrage bob | Friday, May 04, 2007 at 02:05 AM
BB,
I couldn't agree more. Note I said, 'like a smart trial lawyer'. Fact is, I have no doubt he is a smart lawyer.
But he's toast. He's ego won't let him accept that so he'll fight as if he's before a jury he is sure he can convince. It takes a weird ego to do that..... but he won't get anywhere. That hair video killed him.

Edwards, one must admit, is the cutest little class warrior who ever made war on his own class, the rich.
