On New Jersey, but they missed the capitol, damn! Having fished and hunted the Pine Barrens as a kid, it's always been notorious for burning at the drop of a hat when it's dry and the brush is overgrown after some number of fire-free years. Probably not the best place for training exercises that call for the dropping of flairs. Either that, or some trainee just saw his wings go down in flames from what could eventually be 25 thousand acres of fire.
Plante believes the fire will rival some of the area's biggest forest fires in history. In 1995, a fire there burned about 20,000 acres of land, and in 2001 another fire consumed about 12,000 acres, according to Plante.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation, but is believed to have been caused by a flare from an Air National Guard jet that landed at the Warren Grove gunnery range.

Fox Fire News. Okay already....enough with the forest fires.
