Fort Dix Terror Bust Update

I'll link to a complete update by Michelle below, but I turned up something I don't particularly like. What worship the men did was done at, as defined by one Zia Rahman, a moderate mosque. For plenty of background and images on the already much in the news Rahman see this from 2004 - no big deal.

One's American wife is already claiming set-up. One other contemplated site for an attack was the Army Navy game. Won't that be special when it happens one day, most likely via an NFL game on a Sunday, no doubt. These pesky jihadists never rest and all that.

"He works as a roofer all day long. He comes home tired and then he takes the kids to the park. I don't know when he would have had time to plan this. I believe he was set up," she told The Post. "Everything they are saying is not true."

Putting aside that Rahman did indeed know them according to a JW link, having seen them "often" at a local mosque ... the reality here is that police stopped a few illegal aliens for speeding and despite the shell casings, only issued a ticket? Either the FBI flagged these guys so they weren't taken in, or the system of policing we have in America is not going to allow us to prevent what will eventually be the next major terrorist attack on our soil. This is insane.

May 8 NY Times: Cassie Herman, who lives in Blackwood, N.J., where the Duka family once owned a pizzeria, said she rented her 5,000-square-foot home in a gated community on Big Bass Lake to Eljvir Duka for a week in February, and to someone from the F.B.I. for a few days just before.

Ms. Herman said 14 men gathered at the house with Mr. Duka, paying $1,595 for the week, and that they left the place a mess, with paint balls shot inside and on the garage and trees, and 9-millimeter casings littering the driving(sic). The police in Big Bass Lake called her to warn her that the men had been driving 70 miles per hour in the quiet neighborhood; officers followed them, found the shell casings and gave them two citations for $120 each, Ms. Herman said.

Kevin O’Brien, 36, who lives in the same community, said he had gone out drinking twice with several of the men, who told him they were avid hunters. Mr. O’Brien said the men drank whiskey and beer and, asked him about his stint in the Marines, trading stories of their own military training in the former Yugoslavia.

For all of the suspects’ talk of Holy War and martyrdom, investigators said there is little indication that they were devout – or even practicing – Muslims. There are no mosques in Cherry Hill and leaders at nearby Muslim houses of worship say they had never seen the suspects, though they were troubled to learn they had tried to use faith as a justification for their plan.

“This is not what our religion teaches us,” said Zia Rahman, 60, who helped found a mosque in nearby Voorhees last September. “These people claim to be Muslim, but I don’t know how they can be. Islam is a religion of peace, not of violence and this goes against the grain of our religion.”

Contrary to what many lefties at this site think, radical, muslims have a plan and if a dem ever gets elected they plan to carry it out. The simplest most believable plan is to disrupt our economy by attacking shopping malls, sporting events and schools. Over the last several years we have seen small scale assults on all of these places or have disrupted cells planning these kind of attacks. The reason they are waiting for a dem to be elected is that they feel that a dem will be indimidated and forced to give into their demands. I personaly think that if a dem is elected they will not be able to give in a stay in office, the public backlash against that would be huge.

Barrasso when you walk into your average mall food court what do you see, alot of security, not really. Now imagine say a small group of about ten to fifteen muslim men who in pairs on say a Saturday go to six different states find six different malls and walk into those food courts with guns and start shooting. Later that day their buddies release an internet video with a list of demands (get out of middle east, stop supporting Israel etc...) with the threat of more attacks to come.
Fast forward a couple of weeks do you see large crowds in the malls anymore? I kind of doubt you will. Say you pulled this little stunt a month before Thanksgiving what kind of effect will it have on our economy?
How about same plan only now you go after sporting events. Not big obvious targets but well attended highschool games, four or five on the same night. Repeat internet posting of demands.
And lastly after a couple of more weeks go after some schools. As we have all seen our colleges and public schools are very vulnerable to attack. Hit four or five schools on the same day and then about a week later try to repeat it at different locations in the country. The first and second attempts don't even have to be successful you just need to cause panic to cause parents to keep their kids at home.
This series of attacks on our country would cause massive damage and would require less than 50 people to carry out. Each cell would be small and unaware of the others. That is what I'm afraid of Barrasso and if you and the other lefties on this site had half a brain you would be to.

What we were talking about is how many college lefties who are protesting Israel are using the same language and slogans that the Nazis used in the 1930's.
