"But make no mistake: Democrats are committed to ending this war."

Thank you Nancy. One half of a winning 2008 campaign slogan.

"Democrats were committed to ending the war, Republicans to winning it. Who would you rather have in charge of national security"?

BIS et al, Diyala, the last remaining anti Iraq government stronghold, is about to go the way of Anbar. You remember Anbar, the insurgent stronghold? This is what happens when you don't surrender.

Keep spouting your anti-victory, anti-Surge bs.

Terry Gain, surge-supporter and war-loser. Please, tell the faithful again how George Bush won the war 4 years ago.

Thank you for your service!

Now you take my wife...please. Rim shot badoom bop bop. Thank you HennyinBridgeport.

"Thank you for your service!"

It occurs to me that some commenters are like drunken whores. They don't even know when they're being used.

Pelosi translator: Now that we've thrown our meaningless tantrum to appease subhuman scum like Zif, LBiS/Kelvin, let's negotiate. And by negotiate I mean I tell you what you WILL agree to.

Kelvin it has been explained to so many times you are staring to sound like you have a learning disability, but here is one last try.

The Baathist Government in Iraq is no more, they no longer exercise day to day controle over Iraq. The old Iraqi Armed Forces no longer exist. They no longer offer large scale organized resistance, at best you still have some small units acting on an independent basis.

Is there an armed insurgancy going on? Yes, but that is an entirely different matter. Some of the players are the same but not all and they are not all working for the restoration of the old Government.

So Face It Kelvin. WE WON.

"Now it is time for us to try to work together...."

How many times has this woman uttered this between clenched teeth?

""But make no mistake: Democrats are committed to ending this war."" Check it out: "...ending this war." Not "winning this war."

I must be grumpy, but the little phrases politicians use drive me nuts: 'gravitas' was big last year. "But make no mistake.." is so overused that it has no meaning. Meaningless drivel.

Ah, well, we all know what Republicans are good at. . .with the exception of John McCain, of course. Draft dodging! Pity Big Dan doesn't put his ass where his very large mouth is and volunteer to fight in Iraq. But he prefers to emulate Dick "Five Deferments" Cheney. Republicans! Ya gotta love `em.

idiot leftists with nothing but spew - gotta love em
