We'll see. But that may be the case.

WASHINGTON - In grudging concessions to President Bush , Democrats intend to draft an Iraq war-funding bill without a timeline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops and shorn of billions of dollars in spending on domestic programs, officials said Monday.
While details remain subject to change, the measure is designed to close the books by Friday on a bruising veto fight between Bush and the Democratic-controlled Congress over the war. It would provide funds for military operations in Iraq through Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year.
Democratic officials stressed the legislation was subject to change. They spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss provisions before a planned presentation to members of the party‘s rank and file later in the day.
I'll want to see some fleshed out reports and responses. The response from the nutroots should be grand.

They did put the employment killing minimum wage hike in there though.

WRONG again! They've made no deal and the timeline is still on the table.

It looks as if the Dems are trading the funding for the minimum wage increase. And maybe for some amnesty votes too.
Notice the wage increase is permanent while the funding runs only to September. No assurance whatever that the Dems won't kill it then. And any amnesty is permanent too. Once done, the chance of it being repealed is zero.
Time after time the GOP in Congress acts as Charlie Brown while Lucy pulls the football away.
Gingrich made mistakes but when he left Congress the sum of the remaining GOP IQ went negative.

Amnesty, amnesty, amnesty...
What is needed is to enforce the laws on the books... not more uselsess laws that will only benefit drug dealers, gangsters, and rapists.
Why can't the libs see the bloody danger in letting illegal aliens come streaming into this country unchecked, bringing murder, mayhem, and all manner of wickedness with it?
Why are y'all so hot to turn the USA into another South American socialist banana republic?
Do you think they are actually trying to leave those nations because socialism is really all that great...?
