We either have to reform the Special Education system in America, or stop allowing its graduates to sit on juries for suspected terrorists.
A significant number of potential jurors in the Jose Padilla terrorism support case say they aren't sure who is responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, many because they don't trust the news media or U.S. government pronouncements.

"because they don't trust the news media or U.S. government pronouncements."
The media are the ones telling us that this conspiracy crap is credible. They refuse to trust the media unless the story is incredibly asinine; then they are all ears. I guess that explains why the media is catering to the asinine crowd these days.

Great. Juries full of Zifnabs and Kelvins. Just what we need.

It was Saddam, right? Isn't that why we invaded Iraq? Didn't Atta meet with an Iraqi agent in Prague?

So if the Dems had the white house on 9-11, you would be a willing and entirely credible soldier on their behalf. You would have no doubts at all about the Dem government misleading you. Since you already beleive a giant conspiracy theory about the media, you would not distrust a Dem government? This from people who were scared of UN black helecopters coming to suck out their precious fluids.

Umm Barrasso, would it kill you to honestly debate and not deliberately misststate the opposing viewpoint? Apparently so.
So dumbass, do you not know what groupthink is? Obviously not. We have many like minded individuals in the media pushing their point of view. Like you they think it is their right to force their POV on others and make them live by it. It's no conspiracy and no one here (other than you retards) say it is.
BTW, the only ones believing in black helicopters were wackos shunned by our community. What's funny is they are a part of yours now. They hate Bush like you do and want us to cut and run from the ME as well. Thanks to those things they have been embraced by you brainded loons. Thanks. We didn't want them.
While I was against our soldiers going into Kosovo, when they did I cheered them on. I also supported Clinton's decisions in that regard. I was skeptical of his approach, but I gave him a chance. Like then, there are OTHER legitimate reasons to criticize the CINC. Instead you make things up entirely pertaining to the war and WOT. Not because what he's doing is wrong, but because you irrationally hate him and you want your kind to be in power so you can force your way of living down our throats.
You see, we know damn well that if a Dim was doing all this you'd defend him no matter what. But because it's a Rep, you attack him no matter what. And please don't try to say we always defend him since we have openly criticized him many times on this very blog.

UGH. Stupid stupid stupid. What if you were on trial for something where you were innocent and had a jury of cretins?
And these morons vote. How depressing.

Phoenix, I remember a trial where a guy was tried for torturing and murdering his wife. The jerry springer guests immitating jurors decided to become detectives when deliberating. He buried her with a shovel that had half the handle broken off. The jury found him not guilty despite significant evidence. You see, one of the things the jury said was that he couldn't have been the one who buried her with that shovel because it was too hard for him to have done- as he was approx 6'4". Hey retards, ever seen a military D handle shovel? Guys that tall use them all the time! So for that and other reason they didn't think he'd done it.
That's exactly the type of juror defense lawyers want-I heard them say as much. They want morons.
BTW, the guy found not guilty? Someone bought the house he and his wife had lived in. While doing renovations on it he found photos of the guy torturing his wife to death.

That's terrible. I mean, I'm 6'3 and I dug ditches for a summer. It's doable, like you said, its the equipement.
I heard that a guy killed a few people in Michigan a about 20 years ago. The day after the statute of limitation ran out he confessed to the police.
I really think that these idiotic Liberal states like my own (NY, hile Hillary), need to increase statute of limations, and modify double jeopardy laws. On the rare occasion that one moron decides that it is physically impossible for someone taller than Peewee Herman to dig a hole, and then undeniable evidence come to light... well... just my humble opinion, the guy needs to face justice. Or else what the point of a justice system.
The justice system that Mr. (or Mrs, who knows at this point) Reno made over so well.

There's a statute of limitations in NY on murder? That's insane.
They couldn't retry the guy criminally because it would be double jeopardy. In this case all 12 morons felt there wasn't sufficient proof of guilt. I doubt they would have convicted even if the pics had been entered into evidence.
Later when the pics were found at least 5 of the jurors said it made no difference to them and that they don't regret their decision. Sick, sick, sick.
As for Reno, it told BJ Clinton that killing OBL was illegal. Not that they were willing to when they had multiple chances to do so.

I was on a grand jury a while ago and had no clue what exactly our job was. I learned in an instant, however, and noted the courtroom was filled with lawyers and state cops, local cops, sheriffs... It was quiet enough and we headed off to the jury room after the judge's instructions to hear 23 cases. When I said I had no clue, I did not realize that everyone in the courtroom planned to be there all day, or at least until they could appear before us to plead their cases. All were clearly ready for a long day. Whoa.... one case after another, we nailed it. Prosectors, cops,...some defendents appeared to make their case and we looked, listened, said thank you, and 'Next'. We were done in three hours to the utter, complete amazement of the judge and all attending. I didn't realize how efficient a group we were until I reckoned the attitude and relief of the bystanders. We declared indictments for each case and had only one brief debate out of the 23.
Here I am still not in-the-know: How do they pick grand juries? What a bunch of smart, cool people in that little room

Jeff: I don't think there is a statute of limitations on murder.

Yep, Zifnab, we all regret not hanging leftists for treason after Viet Nam.

Nah, not leftists. Just a light stretch at Danbury for Jane Fonda.
