Despite images and video of a slain Taliban fighter and amputee missing a leg, similarly to top Taliban Lieutant Mullah Dadullah, available here via Ace, and possibly in response to this:
The Taliban is promising a “fresh voice recording” of Dadullah to prove that he’s alive. This was a guy known for his videos, mind you, so the fact that they’re promising audio only is telling.
al Qaeda has released the following battlefield video as proof that Mullah Dadullah is very much alive and was actually standing as NATO forces were forced to flee for their lives. Another near miss?
